Thread: Pokémon: Spectrum Version (*Me and Ningyo-chan!*)

"You had no way of knowing," Abby replied with a frown.

"Yeah, I didn't, huh?" Animus said, rubbing his head.

Abby simply shook her head as she looked at the pavement.

"Don't worry about it," she whispered.

Later...

Animus sighed as he laid down on a bed he rented. The Pokémon Center thankfully have rooms for trainers to spend the night. Animus had rented a room with two beds, and was ready to call it a day.

Abby sighed as she sat on the bed with Shadow, Dublin, Zoro and Law. She had them released from the Pokeballs so they could sleep freely in the room. She was wearing a dark purple, long sleeve pajama top, and plaid shorts with hues of black, pink, dark purple, and white. She was wearing white, ankle socks to keep her feet warm. She blushed at the thought of sharing a room with a boy since she was never allowed to do such things back home. She was sharing her room with Animus, nonetheless.

"So, um, I assume you'll be training for the Striation Gym tomorrow?" Abby asked, trying to make conversation.

"Yeah, I will be. I have to if I'm going to leave the City." Animus said, getting a tick mark at the memory. Earlier, Animus had walked to the entrance of Route 3, and was denied access to it in a very persistent manner by a old man who tells him to fight the Straition Gym Leaders and get the Tri Badge. He tried to run around him, but he came face to face with a Haxorus ready to pounce. Animus wisely backtracked.

"I have never seen anyone so valiant in being a roadblock before." Animus added.

"Eh, that's how elderly people are sometimes," Abby noted, "It's best just to listen to them and go about your business."

"If they are commanding a giant Dragon-type, yeah, it's best to heed their advice." Animus said with a nod.

"How does being a roadblock solve anything? If anything, he's just being a nuisance. He's practically forcing people to stay in the city unless they have the city's Badge." Shadow said.

Animus threw out his Pokemon, letting them take their spots on the bed. While everyone got spots that wouldn't take up Animus' face, Kuroki, being the minx that she is, was the exception. Her spot is Animus' face.

"You're lucky I'm not allergic to dander." Animus said, getting a lazy yawn from the Purrloin.

"Aww," Abby giggled, "Come over here, Roki. I'm more comfy than Animus plus I have treats." she held up a bag of Delcatty Nip.

Kuroki was up in a flash and jumped ship, leaping off of Animus (and leaving two pawprints on his face) and ran to her side alongside Shadow.

"She is a cat: thinks with her stomach." Animus said flatly, with Shadow and Kuroki ignoring him.

Abby giggled as she fed treats to Shadow and Kuroki.

The Dark-types munched on them with vigor, slurping the treats.

Animus just chuckled in amusement.

"Do you like them?" Abby asked as she pet both of the felines.

"Delicious!" The cats chimed, getting Animus to laugh.

"See? I'm the better person," Abby said with a slight giggle and blush.
