Thread: Pokémon: Spectrum Version (*Me and Ningyo-chan!*)

"Then, do I still call you Shadow?" Abby asked sweetly as she stroked the feline's fur.

"Yeah. My name is Shadow because of this." The Purrloin said, taking out Zoro's Pokeball from behind his back.

"Why, you thief!" Animus exclaimed, highly amused by how smooth the cat can operate in the pickpocketing world.

"My mama taught me how to steal." Shadow said, offering back Zoro's ball under the Leer of Dublin.

"Well, we don't need you doing that, silly," Abby giggled as she began scratching Shadow's back.

Shadow tensed up then laid down, purring loudly when Abby begin scratching his back.

"What a cat." Animus said with a roll of his eyes.

"I'm keeping him," Abby declared while continuing to scratch the devious feline's back.

"Good, you should. Let me guess, he told you his gender?" Animus asked, looking at Abby.

"Ain't too bright, is he?" Shadow asked, stretching. "He can't understand us verbally." Dublin said.

"His voice gave it away," Abby replied simply.

"Ah. We should go to the Center and heal your new teammate up." Animus said, looking at the still-battered form of Shadow.

"Of course," Abby nodded as she picked up Shadow and began walking towards the Pokemon center with the injured Purrloin.

Animus sighed and looked skyward. "Arceus, what does the future hold for us?" He asked the PokéGod, then took out a pack of green apple-flavored chewing gum, took out a stick, and began chewing on it.

The Nurse Joy looked up when Abby reentered. "Hello again, Abigail. You got a new partner?" She asked, looking at Shadow.

"Yes," Abby replied as she walked to the counter and placed the Purrloin down, "He needs a little pick-me-up."

"Alright then." The Nurse Joy said, taking the Purrloin and put him on the machine, and then zapped him wih a beam from the Medigun.

In the span of a few seconds, Shadow was now fully healed and refreshed.

Abby picked up Shadow and held him as she thanked Nurse Joy. Soon, she walked back to where Animus was.

"Okay, we can now go to Route 2. I'm getting a seriously bad vibe from those Plasma fools." Animus said, chewing his gum. He then looked at his bag first, then blushed in slight embarrassment. "After I get my supplies." He said, smiling sheepishly.

A few minutes later, Animus came back with 5 Potions, 3 PokéBalls, and some status ailment medicines.

"So, you're finally ready?" Abby asked as she jokingly stuck out her tongue.
