Thread: Pokémon: Spectrum Version (*Me and Ningyo-chan!*)

Abby blushed as she grabbed Animus' hand while holding onto Dublin.

"I hope everything's okay," she whispered.

When Animus got to the front, he straightened up in shock. In front of him was a platoon of very identical red-haired and blue-eyed men and women in white, knight-like uniforms with gray hoodies that have "x" patterns on them. On their chest is an emblem of a black and white shield with a blue "P" and "Z" letters that were stacked on each other. On the far right and left of the platoon were flags carrying the same emblem.

Two members parted to reveal a man with faded green hair that sticked up in three places, a monocle on his right eye with a red lens to match the color of his left eye. He was wearing a very gaudy coat, with the giant, ornate collar looking like the top of a castle tower with turquoise decorating the outward-facing tips. On said collar was the emblem that the platoon had. On the right side of the actual cloak, it was yellow with a purple eye design with a red iris, and the left side was a flipped version.

"What the hell's going on?" Animus asked, furrowing his eyebrows in questioning.

Abby frowned as she held Dublin close.

"This is creepy..." she whispered.

The man stepped forward and opened his mouth. "My name is Ghetsis." He spoke, getting Animus to shiver. His voice sounded like smooth oil, a combination of slickness and coolness firmly in place in his tone.

"I am here representing Team Plasma." He said, getting Animus to freeze and widen his eyes in horror. "Team?!" He gasped out under his breath. He then took out photos from his pocket and looked at them. Rocket, Magma, Aqua, Galactic... all teams, plus dozens more in different regions.

"Today, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to talk to you about Pokemon liberation." He spoke, getting quite a confusing stir from the audience. 'What are you planning?...' Animus thought, glaring at Ghetsis.

Abby frowned as she looked at Dublin and held him tightly.

Ghetsis walked over to the right side of the plaza until he reached the rightmost Plasma banner. "I'm sure that most of you believe that we humans and Pokemon are partners that have come to live together because we want and need each other." He spoke out.

'Try everyone...' Animus thought flatly.

"However... is this the truth?"

'Yes.'

"Have you ever considered that perhaps we humans... only assume it is the truth?"

'Huh? What insane kind of bullshit is this?'

Ghetsis walked back to where he first stood at. "Pokemon are subjected to the selfish command of Trainers... They get pushed around when they are our "partners" at work... Can anyone say with confidence that there is no truth in what I am saying?"

"I do!" Animus yelled, stepping forward.

Abby gasped as she looked at Animus.

"What are you doing?!" she whispered.

"Calling out bullshit." Animus spoke to her softly.

"Oh ho? A young man accuses me of lying? Tell me, what is your name, young man?" Ghetsis asked. "The name's Animus Celestecuerpo. Heir to the biggest shipping freight in the world." Animus said, pocketing the photos.

"Ah, I see, a very influential man has stepped forward. You do know that Pokemon and humans are very different from one another, yes?" Ghetsis asked, walking back as to let Animus walk to the plaza where the Plasma members stood, staring hotly at Animus for interrupting their great leader's speech.

"I know. They also hold great powers and potential that we humans cannot contain. However, we can influence this potential by growing with the Pokemon, teach it, take care of it in every occassion. " Animus said.

"So I'm traveling with a famous guy?" Abby said to herself, "Fangirls are gonna fucking kill me..."

"You see, I believe that while Pokemon can grow just fine in the wild, it takes a competent, caring Trainer to unleash the true potential within all Pokemon. There is no such thing as a peerless Pokemon, but Trainers can make that concept almost possible." Animus said, getting murmurs in the crowd.

"I see. You hold a valid argument. But know this: liberation will be at hand." Ghetsis said, then turned heel, getting the flag bearers to grab their banners and the Plasma unit marched on out of Accumula.

"I am fine to make my own choices." Dublin said hotly, he cutely mad.

"Then what do you want to do, Dublin?" Abby asked as she looked at her Lillipup.

"Stay with you. You aren't a bad person." Dublin said, amid the chatter of the crowd as it dispersed.

Once they left, a young man with lime green hair with black and white clothing and ball cap, a necklace of a black stone with yellow and electric blue additions, and a hollow cube hanging from a chain from his pocket.

Abby looked at the guy, and her eyes widened before she blushed.

He then walked over to Abby, alerting Animus. "Your Pokemon... Just now, it was saying..." He spoke out.

"May I help you?" Animus asked in a neutral tone, noting the young man's green hair.

"Yes, Dublin said I wasn't a bad person, and that he wanted to stay with me," Abby mumbled as she looked at the boy, "Can you hear them too?"
