Drake noticed that there was already a Pokemon, confortably sitting in the bed next to him. "Oh, I'm sorry." Drake apologized. "Is it alright if I stay here?"
"I'm Drake, a Dratini." He introduced. "How about you?"

"I'm Drake, a Dratini." He introduced. "How about you?"

"It's fine. Name's Parasiet. If you couldn't already tell, I'm a Pinsir," he said, careful to keep his words short and to the point. Although it did seem that he would be capable of working with this Drake, he wanted to make sure. The incident back at Gilliad had left him somewhat paranoid, due to the fact that an associate of Darkrai was living in the same town as him.

"Yeah.. I noticed after my eyes adjusted to the darkness." Drake smiled. "I'm not very tough, but I really want to learn a lot about helping people. Maybe you can teach me how to battle." He said, assuming that Parasiet was a strong fighter.

Parasiet nodded. "Maybe," he half-muttered. He was beginning to like this Dratini. Perhaps the two could partner up as a team.

"I hope so..." Drake replied. "I don't really know how strong I am. I don't even know what moves I can do." He said. "When all of the other Dratini were battling to become strong Dragonite, I decided that I'd rather not be as destructive. Because of that, I never learned how to battle." He explained.

"That's not the best of ideas when it comes to our present situation," Parasiet said, starting to lighten up a bit more. "We're currently in an invasion by a monstrosity that wishes to shroud the world in darkness. He's almost done it before, and if someone doesn't stop him, he'll manage to succeed this time."

Drake was in total shock when he heard this. His mother always kept him in the protection of his home so he never thought that there would be any serious threats out there. "What do you mean?!" He asked.

"I'm not lying," Parasiet said. "I would know, my abode in my hometown was burned down, with my entire family inside, by one of his associates, who also happens to be my former childhood friend and rival."

Drake was silent after hearing this. He never realized how cruel the world was outside of what he grew up with. "I... I'm sorry." Was all that the little Dratini could manage to say.
Artemis chooses a room and just sits down, staring at the floor.
Not as bad as I thought he thinks.

"I don't really like talking about it..." Parasiet muttered, and whatever he was going to say he didn't end up saying, due to the surge of emotions that went through him at the mention of the incident.
Ariel looks around for a room until she sees one fit. She entered the room, and she saw a Teddiursa sitting there.
"Umm...is it okay if I room here with you?" Ariel asked the Teddiursa.

Artemis stares. at the Vulpix.
Did...did she say that? Oh crap. He thinks, nervously brushing his fur with his claws.
"Um... Sure. Fine" He mutters, then says it again a bit louder.
What a weird day.

"Okay..." Drake silently replied to Parasiet's answer. "Um... should we get to bed, now?"
"Okay," Ariel replied as she sat on her bed, "Thanks for letting me stay. I was so nervous that no one would let me room with them." her 6 tails wagging happily.
"Dinner time!" Miltank cried out to the pokemon. Ariel's face brightened up.
"Ooh! Dinner!" she cheerfully spoke, "I'm so hungry."
