Thread: Neo Gears (Stellar Haze and Octy)

"Oh dear," Melody spoke in a slightly worried tone, "Maybe we should stay hidden?"

"It'll be best," Luke nodded his head. "Unless they start scouting.

"And then we're screwed," Melody sighed, "How do you manage to live like this?"

"I'm awesome!" Luke announced confidently and held his board forward. "Plus this thing is really fast," he stated and began to walk once more. "But regardless," the tone of his voice seemed to have turned much more serious. "Just stand behind me and I'll make sure that nothing happens to you."

"Okay," Melody answered with a slight frown, "You be careful too."

"Don't worry I have my Neo Gear with me," Luke stated and raised his right arm. "With this bad boy we're safer than anything else."

"All right," Melody sighed. She just had to trust him. After all, she had no way out of this situation.

"Where do you live anyway?" Luke asked as the two began to make their way through the sewers, he was actually good with finding his way through them and was able to remember the different twists and turns to take.

"In an apartment not far from where you found me actually," Melody answered, "I was just going to take a brisk walk before I made dinner."

"Oh..." Luke raised an eyebrow. "So I actually took you somewhere huh," he chuckled slightly. "Sorry about that."

"It's fine," Melody giggled, "Don't worry too much about it."

"Are you sure?" Luke raised an eyebrow in doubt.

"Yes, I'm sure," Melody answered with a smile, "You've given me a heck of an exciting day. I have a heck of a story to tell now."

"Well that's definitely true," Luke laughed. Suddenly he felt the sewers move around and his fear increased as he heard a loud rumbling noise. "Damn it, we should start running now."

Melody frowned slightly and nodded. She had a bad feeling that things were going to get ugly, and soon.

"Alright," she answered.
