Melody looked at the man and frowned. She really knew today wasn't her day to be outside.
"Um...who are you?" she asked.
"Me or him?" Luke asked curiously with a raised eyebrow.
"Him," Melody answered as she looked at the snow haired man.
"Oh that's just Ally," Luke shrugged with boredom.
"My name is Alistair not Ally!" Alistair yelled in anger while glaring at Luke. "And today I will finally catch you, now let go of that girl."
"No," Luke replied simply, causing Paul to gasp at his reaction. Luke held his right arm forward and suddenly materialized a long black and blue sword on it. "Sorry but no dice." he started speeding forward once more and slid the sword on the ground before firing a blue wave of energy at Ally, who was too busy blocking the attack with his gun to stop Melody and Luke from getting away.
"I don't wanna die!" Melody screeched as she gripped onto Luke tighter.
"Don't worry about that," Luke smirked as the wind made his hair blow around once the two got past Ally. The man turned around and began to chase after the two with great speed, his gun at the ready. "We're gonna get a little dirty here so get ready."
"Oh joy," Melody frowned as she looked up at Luke, "If I die, I'm going to kill you in the next life."
"Not logical," Luke informed with a laughed before he sped towards a lone water pipe that served as a water canal fro all the water and objects under the ground of the city. "We're gonna be going down the pipes so hold your breath."
Melody took a deep breath and began to hold it.
The two of them sped inside and Luke sighed to himself once they got farther in and began making a few turns. "Acero City's water canal is like a maze, he won't find us that easily," he shook his head. 'So how are you?"
"Well, I've been better," Melody answered, "What about you guys?"
"I'm good...just realized we left Paul behind," Luke said before shrugging. "Sorry I brought you in this goose chase."
"It happens," Melody spoke as she brushed it off, "As long as I live, I'm good." she giggled.
"It's good that you're so open minded," Luke chuckled. "Again, my name's Luke."
"I know," Melody laughed, "And once again, mine is Melody."
