''I was expecting that. There'll be a surprise waiting for them.'' Chrysalis said.

''Muzzle flash, estimated range, 2000 - wow!'' Glacis exclaimed just after she heard the metallic screeches of a shell penetrating armour. ''- We just lost #4! Hit on the front! Anyone got eyes on? Just saw a muzzle flash, 2000 metres, 10 o'clock!'' She said via the radio.

"Ah saw that, wha' was it?!" Applejack shouted.

''I don't know, but if they're T28s or T30s in hull-down positions, we're done.'' Glacis replied before another muzzle flash lit up and whizzed just past Glacis' tank. ''Another muzzle flash! Return fire!'' Glacis said. ''Range is about 1500 metres now! Keep going!''

Sudden fires of the E-100 made a lot of sound. "Whatever that was, it is hit." Snipin' said.

''Let's hope it penetrated.'' Glacis said. ''900 metres!'' She yelled before another Changeling tank fired, giving Glacis a clear view of the enemy tanks. ''Looks like T34s, judging by the barrel length!''

OoC: The T34 is basically a T30, but with its 155m T7 gun replaced by the 120mm T53.

Shots were deafening. Many of our tanks were firing one after another at the enemies. "We are approaching the base, I can see it now!" Snipin shouted.

''Hold up! Keep your front pointing towards these T34s!'' Glacis said before she lowered her seat and closed the hatch. ''Gunner. Zero in on the commander's cupola. They're hull-down, and their mantlets are too thick.''

OoC: In case you don't know what a mantlet is, it's the ''shield'' at the back of the gun, like on the T30. I'll shoot you a clear pic in a sec.

"We have reached the base, The E-100 will start to destroy the base, you ponies back there get those T-34s!" Snipin' shouted. Then the tank shot down two watch-pillars.

''Sure thing, but stay on the watch for any other tanks! If I lose an E-100, I'll never hear the end of it!'' Glacis said before she ordered her gunner to open fire on one of the T34s, hitting it in the turret ring, causing the stored ammo to cook off and explode.

''Talk to me. What's going on?'' Chrysalis asked.

"We are going down!" The changeling said.

''Damn it. Alright. Ambush them with a couple of T28s on the way out.'' Chrysalis said.

--- meanwhile, in Ponyville ---

A Changeling sniper, disguised as a COMBAT overwatch soldier, nonchalantly lined up his rifle on his next target, of which he had a photo stuck to the wall of his watchtower. A cute filly with a white coat and a purple and pink mane. He lined up his crosshairs on the target's neck and pulled the trigger...

"Glacis, give us a scan of the scene please!" Snipin' shouted, trying to make his voice seem loud in all the firing.

As the shot missed, as the cutie mark crusaders jumped into water, as they were the CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS TREASURE HUNTERS YAY!!

"We can't! We don't have infrared cameras on-board!" Glacis replied.

"Damn those little ponies!" The Changeling sniper said.

"I meant what can you see?! I cannot see clearly in all this dust and smoke!" Snipin' replied. "On that note, why don't we have infrared on-board?

"The base is done for." The changeling replied.

Bubbles came up from their diving suits, when someone placed a hoof on the Sniper's shoulder, before she shot him in the head. Then the lavender unicorn left, taking his sniper rifle.

"The base is going down, fast, but tanks have surrounded them! They won't be able to make it back here alive!" Rarity yelled.

"Because these tanks aren't that advanced yet!" Glacis said in her hallmark sing-song voice. "It's been planned for a while now, though."
