Samaya glared at Midnight. ''Happy now?'' She hissed.

''Now, sister, don't cry... It's not needed.'' Celestia said.

''I... Luna, I didn't mean to...'' Midnight said before she was cut off by Samaya's hoof hitting her in the face.

Discord was staring blankly at the wall, not even blinking. "No... Tia... You don't know what I have suffered." Luna said. "You have never went Nightmare... Never imprisoned for a thousand years... Never despised by ponies..."

''Alright! Everypony, shut up! Luna, stop weeping! Discord, Celestia, just shut up! And Midnight, if you don't stop being so dense and stubborn, I'm cracking your neck right here and end the moon pony chapter of ponykind myself.'' Samaya said.

"NO!" Luna yelled, her eyes glowing white for a second. "Thou shall not hurt a moon pony! I don't know what thee ponies were thinking when I was gone, but I won't allow this barbaric killing going on in Equestria!"

''Eep.'' Samaya muttered, backing off. ''... So what do we do now? Midnight here obviously isn't going to soften up.'' She said.

Luna turned to Midnight. "I won't force you." She said in a low voice. "But think of all the fillies and colts you are going to save by helping us. We have no defence against the Changelings..."

''Then you're fucked.'' Midnight said, standing up again. ''I'll be happy to watch them all die. Just like they were so happy to watch my kin die.''

"O-Okay." Luna choked out. "Midnight, you are free to go."

Midnight started trotting towards the door.

''Blegh. Why do I even care? If she wants to spend the rest of her days in an Equestria ruled by these insects, so be it.'' Samaya said. ''At least some of us are willing to give it all for ponykind. What has this generation of ponies ever done wrong to deserve an evil like the Changelings? Or Nightmare Time?'' She muttered.

''They haven't. Midnight. This generation of ponies has never harmed you or any other moon pony. Heck, most of them accept Luna nowadays.'' Celestia said.

Lune trotted towards Celestia. "N-No. They don't." Luna muttered and then walked to the door. "I'm going for Venuzon..." She said in a low voice and walked off.

''Can't you just understand, you dense idiot?'' Samaya said to Midnight. ''Nightmare Moon was not Luna's fault! She loved you and the other moon ponies with all her heart! Otherwise, why would she have created you in the first place?! Nightmare Moon wasn't her fault! I went Nightmare not too long ago! You have no idea what it's LIKE!''

''Nightmare Moon wasn't her fault? Then whose was it?'' Midnight said.

"It is hard to explain." Discord said. "Magical things you are yet too young to understand. Things that were created by gods. Gods in other worlds or in other places, but always watching us. Some worlds home to gods... Some we dread..."

''So you're saying the big sky fairy made Luna snap?'' Midnight said.

Discord roared. A big, loud and scary roar. "There are devils inside every being!" Discord yelled. "Devils that want to kill us all the very chance they get! But there are gods and order that balances the evil in this world. If good things happen, something bad is ought to happen."

''So what good things happened to Luna which justified her going Nightmare?! What good things happened to us moon ponies that justified those massacres?!'' Midnight said, clearly not impressed by Discord's roar.
