"Now that I think about it, I have kinda lost a bit of my touch. Reversing me a couple thousand years would boost my powers and I could cancel further reverse." Discord smiled. "Speaking of children..." He laughed, turning Nightmare Time into a filly.
Time immediately turned herself back. "Time is my domain, Discord. You can influence it, but I control it! You think time is your ally, but I am time! I am all around you!" She said before reversing time again. "Let's see for how long you can keep saving Equestria."
"Wait a second. I need to beat you, not save equestria. When I'm done with you, I'll just fast forward everthing." He said.
''Haha! Didn't you hear what I just said? Time dies with me!'' Nightmare Time said.
Discord frowned. He created a temporal distortion that all the time around him.
''I'll defeat you, Discord. Then I'll take care of Luna.'' Time said as she collapsed Discord's temporal distortion and created three new, smaller ones, wacking up time within all three. ''Let's see how good you can fight when one part of your body is slower than the other.''
"You don't seem to understand that I'm not affected by time." He said. A top hat and cane appeared on Discord as he danced a jig.
''I'm not affected by any of your idiotic tricks, either.'' Time said. ''So I guess it comes down to who of us is better at fighting the old-fashioned way. And I'm afraid that's not you.''
Discord used an advanced Invisibilty spell that hid everthing other than scent.
... To which Time responded with a spell which made scents visible. ''I'm one step ahead of you, Discord.''
Discord grunted and shot a red beam of magic. He quickly sent lots of dust and scents into the air.
''Ha. You just gave yourself away.'' Time said. ''Let's use some low tricks now. Ever heard of black magic, Discord?'' She said before Discord's own magic shot back at him. ''Just try to hit me now.''
Discord responded with a mirror of black magic that replaced his position with Time's. "I'm chaos, remember?"
''And I'm time. Without time and space, there's nothing. But, in theory, if there were no life... Chaos would hardly be needed. Sorry, Discord.'' Time said before her eyes glowed a deep purple.
Discord sensed a feeling of doom in this frozen nightmare. He quickly retreated into his dimension and closed all portals and connections with the planet. He was in an safe fortress where time neither exists or space neither flows.
