"Aah!" Hope welped as she retreated further into the cave. The geckos jumped out of the cave onto a robot, effectively taking it down by filling it's electronics with saliva.

"Spike. All Securitrons activated Protocol 12. A new alicorn has been detected in the wasteland." Luna's robotic voice echoed in Spike's office.

Waterfront lowered her gun again as the robot she had been shooting at fell back, its monitor smashed by the flechettes. "Hope? You okay?" She called out.

"I know. I've already sent my assets to capture her." Spike replied.

"What are those things?" Hope yelled, freaked out.

"Securitrons Mark I." A rather raider-like stallion said, standing in front of the cave.

"We need to make a conversation with this new alicorn... Is it evil like... Celestia... or what."

"Who're you?" Waterfront asked, raising her gun again.

"We don't know yet." Spike said.

"Name's Appleshot." He said, raising his cowboy hat. He was wearing combat armor, and had lot's of weapons on his back, including a big saddlebag.

"Well we need to know. If you fail to get her, my securitrons are there anyway." Luna said.

"Funny name. Mine's Waterfront." Waterfront said, gesturing for Hope to stay in the shadows. "What the fuck are you doing here?"

"Killing Securitrons. Luna kicked me out of New Canterlot, and sent all of em' fer me." He said. "And she has found what my quest was. The Alicorn."

"Alicorn? I thought the only live Alicorn was Celestia." Waterfront said, trying to play dumb.

"Three alicorns are alive. Celestia, Luna and... Hope. I have been following you around for whole day now."

"Why're you looking for her?" Waterfront asked, hoping this wouldn't turn into a right; one she would lose.

"An alicorn is the last hope of the wasteland, according to Luna." Appleshot said. "Since Celestia is well, Celestia, and Luna is still in heavy regeneration."

"Hope? For this wasteland?" Waterfront said. "That's pretty naive."

"Have you got any idea who Luna is, and what she is intent on doing? Do you know anything about the EGM? Alicorns? The war? Huh?" Appleshot said.

"Hey, who says you're not some slave trader fuck intent on capturing me and Hope?" Waterfront snapped.

Appleshot flashed his MST badge.
