The supposed leader lifted Waterfront onto his back before crawling away, covered by his buddies.

Zerein and some Wolves raced ahead, killing two of the raiders, leaving the leader exposed.

''Hey! Fuck off! I found her!'' The leader yelled.

Zerein pointed his gun at the leader.

''Lower it. Now'' The leader said.

Zerein shot three times.

Only one of the three rounds hit the raider, who cringed immediately. Waterfront quickly levitated his own knife from its sheath, bringing it down on the back of his neck.

"Appleshot." Zerein called.

"Zerein." Appleshot answered, galloping ahead.

"Fucking raider assholes." Waterfront said, clumsily standing up.

"Be careful on getting the alicorn to Luna, these raiders are everywhere. You won't ever find them across the river, I suggest taking that route." Zerein said. "Appleshot, can I speak to you for a minute?"

"Hold on a sec. Appleshot! Spare any Med-X? To dull the pain?" Waterfront said, part of her coat coloured a sickly crimson.

Zerein signaled to an changeling. The changeling gave Waterfront a Med-X.

''Thanks. It's appreciated.'' Waterfront said before injecting the painkiller into one of her legs. ''Hey, hold up a sec. Am I allowed to loot the bodies for ammo?''

"No." Appleshot and Zerein said simultaneously.

''Doing it anyway.'' Waterfront said, trotting to the raider leader's body and opening one of his ammo pouches. ''.308 rounds. Brilliant.'' She said, levitating 12 .308 bullets from the pouch.
