Thread: My Little Metroid: Magic is Showtime! *Me and Hyokamen Brycen!*

"It is. That is why I'm having ADAM scan it for any abnormalities." Samus said, very interested in what is up with that metal detector.

"Stunning, really. It is my first time seeing magic at hand, and I'm glad it came from a filly." Samus said, looking at said filly who saved Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and herself.

"It's just a normal metal detector," said Sweetie, rubbing her head.

"Perhaps things in OUR world just have interesting reactions to the ones in your world?" asked Twilight. "And as for magic, all three tribes have their own actually," she continued. "Unicorns are obvious, but Pegasi have weather manipulation and tactile telekinesis, that means they can pull objects while flying as if they were on solid ground, and more safely carry and catch ponies while flying. Earth Ponies have a connection to the earth itself. They're more physically durable and stronger than the other two and can VERY effectively grow crops thanks to their magic, something the other two tribes have more trouble with."

"She's right. Nothing out of the ordinary, besides it being broken from when the Mining Drone landed on it." ADAM reported, currently fixing the machine.

"Wow." Samus said in amazement, looking at the three tribes of Pony in front of her.

Twilight nodded. "Believe it or not, legends say there were two other tribes, but we they've vanished into myths, if they ever existed at all," she explained. "There's also Zebras, they use a type of magic based on plants and herbs. Ponies CAN use it, but Zebras have a natural affinity for it. I could introduce you to Zecora, she's a Zebra who lives around here."

"Sure." Samus said, getting up. 'Zebra? Plants and herbs? Wonder what good will this bring?' Samus mentally pondered, imagining what the lost 2 Pony tribes were.

Twilight nodded and teleported away, returning with Zecora shortly there after. "Samus, this is Zecora, a local Zebra."

Samus looked her over. 'Neck rings. Subtly, thy name is NOT Zecora.' Samus thought flatly, as she knew several tribes back on Earth wear neck rings in the African and Asian continents. And since she's a Zebra...

((* - When I first saw Zecora, my first thought was a flat "Really?".))

OOC: No, just letting Samus look at her. I know.

"Hello, one from another world born, I see you observe that which I'm adorn. These are from my homeland far away, I like to keep some reminder of the old way," Zecora said in her typical rhyming pattern. "Zecora is my name, herbal remedies are my game. It is a pleasure with you to greet, new friends are always fun to meet."

'With a penchant for rhyming.' Samus added. "I see. Back home, some tribes would wear those rings too. Although they take it to the extreme..." Samus said. ADAM pulled up a picture of a African woman with an incredible amount of rings, and it seemed that the rings stretched out her neck.

"What the-?! What am I looking at?!" Dash yelled, weirded out by the image.

"Giraffes wear rings like that, but zebra don't, that's a fake," Zecora replied, looking at the picture.

"What's your scanner thingie say about Zecora?" asked Sweetie.

"Believe me, it's real. What you are seeing is the result of enlarged spinal disks. The disks got big thanks to absorbing bodily fluids." Samus said, transforming her Zero Suit into her Power Suit, with ADAM showing the girls the process of the neck-enlonging by the skeletal system.

"Oh... Wow..." Applejack said, trying to look away, but just couldn't.

"Recording to logbook." The system announced loudly when the Scan Visor finished scanning, as Samus began reading what this scannings picked up.

Morphology: Zecora. A Zebra. Not native to this part of Esquestia, Zecora has come with pretenses unknown. A skilled rhymer, Zecora is also a skilled botonist and mythology historian.

Twilight took notes, while Rarity commented how unfashionable it looked and Sweetie Belle looked sick to her stomach.

"I am a botonist, but I prefer the term herbalist," Zecora corrected, goodheartedly.

"Zecora knows cures for almost anything," said Twilight. "She's been a big help to us...even if at first we were afraid of her sadly..."

OOC: You know, I can imagine Poison Joke turning Samus into a pony for a bit at some point.

"You don't say." Samus said curiously, hand in her cheek as she went back to her Zero Suit.

"Samus, I've finished taking the video evidence of your tussle with the Mining Drone." ADAM said, getting Samus to hold up her hand, getting a somewhat device in the shape of a sphere with a "s"-shaped bolt to go right into her hand.

"Here, a replay of my fight." Sanus said, handing it to Sweetie Belle, knowing that she's still buggy with her magic and tired from the day, if the brief nap she had on the way home was any clue.

"What is that?" Dash asked.

"My ensignia. The original Grey Voice handed it down to me." Samus said.

Samus' pets were sleeping in comfy beds perched on their cages. When Samus goes into space travel, they stay inside the cages as so they don't accidently get out and get killed.

Sweetie Belle watched the fight, letting Rarity watch when she used magic for the first time. Rarity kissed her head proudly.

"So, what does this upgrade you unlocked do?" asked Twilight. "Come to think about it, how do the upgrades even work?"

"It allows me to destroy stuff sensitive to concussive/explosive force that my Beam Weapons would not penetrate, such as the element Radion or the Brinstone material. As for how they work, the suit is practically a part of me. I just know how to make it work." Samus explained.

"At the start, Samus has only 5 missiles. She can find Missile Ammunition Packs to expand the maximum amount of Missiles she can carry by 5." ADAM added.
