"Is that thing a Zodiarts?" asked Fluttercruel.

Rarity was busy morning her now ruined mane.

Pinkie donned the Harmony Driver. "Henshin!"

"Laugh-ter On!"

Pinkie pulled out her ribbon. "I've got an idea," she said, putting the handle of her ribbon to her 'mouth' and beginning to play a soothing song like it was a flute, pink, Harmony charged, pacifying soundwaves pulsing at the creature.

The creature stopped, then smiled with half-lidded eyes as the music waves reached it's "ears", then it made a mighty yawn and the giant amount of seaweed collapsed, it sinking back into the ocean.

"What in the name of the animal kingdom was that?" Gentaro asked, detransforming.

((You're going to hate me for this, but I'm thinking... Kelpie. *shot*))

OOC: Lol. Given this world, that'd probably not be that bad.

"Yay! It worked!" Pinkie cheered, transforming back.

"Not sure..." said Cadance, watching the sleeping creature sink back into the depths.

"It was definitely an animal," Fluttershy confirmed. "Thanks for being peaceful, Pinkie."

Twilight nodded, taking notes on the entire event for research. "Yeah, I'd hate for us to have hurt it and it turn out it was the Sea Ponies guardian or something..." she said, looking out and doing various things to chart their location. "We're almost there, a little further."

Fluttercruel tried to activate the engine...only for it to smoke and burst into flames.

OOC: I take it now would be a good first encounter with the Sea Ponies. Not sure if their original song aged well enough for them to use though, even if its an Ear Worm.

((Why not? But I would make them suspicious, as the Kelpie was lulled back to sleep. Not to mention they are wary of strangers.))

"Ah, shimatta!" Miu and Tomoko yelled, jumping in shock and landed on Gentaro, crushing the Earth pony.

"Well...now what?" asked Fluttercruel flatly as she dumped a bucket of water on the fire.

"Do you always have one of those on you?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah, pretty much," the chaos born spirit replied.

Suddenly, the boat began to move on its own. "Huh?"

Dash submerged her head to check it out and her jaw went slack. Pushing the boat was a group of Ponies with various fish tails for hindlegs, fins decorating their front legs, and a long dorsal fin serving as their manes. Some came in a menagerie of colors, others in a single color.

"Guys, I guess the Sea Ponies found us." Dash said, getting her head out of the water.

Cadance went over and lowered her head in, looking at the Sea Ponies. "Excuse me, thank you for helping us. Please allow me to introduce myself, I am Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, representative of the Crystal Kingdom. We are actually a diplomatic party sent by Queen Cosmica of Equestria to make contact with your people. We very much appreciate the help."

Gilda followed suit. "I'm Gilda, the representative of the Griffin Kingdom...Oh, and Griffins have been at peace with ponies for the last five hundred years."

Lightning Flicker joined them. "Commander Lightning Flicker, representative of the Flutterponies, pleasure to meet you."

"Pleasure to meet you all." One Sea Pony said, swimming over. He was mainly emerald green with bands of purple streaking across back and sides, with his stomach a bright blue. He was wearing white shell-like armor with red stripes with a spear, with the spearhead shaped to resemble a spiral conch. "I am Riptide, Captain of the Guard. We were alerted to the Kelpie waking up, but we are equally relieved and puzzled that you are safe." Riptide spoke.

"Kelpie? That is seriously the name you chose?" Dash deadpanned.

"It's not fear-inducing enough to call it 'the Leviathan'." Riptide retorted.

"Point." Blueblood quipped.

"Pinkie lulled it back to sleep," said Twilight, pointing to the pink pony.

Ripple came over and gave a bow to her fellow captain of the guard.

"Riptide, may we have permission to see your ruler?" asked Cadance. "We have a message of peace from Queen Cosmica."

"We also brought a gift," said Twilight, showing the jewel meant for the Sea Pony ruler.

"Of course. I assume those strange suits you are wearing will help you descend into the depths?" Riptide asked, looking at the garb everyone was wearing.

"Of course." Gentaro said, transforming into Fourze in a flash.

"We'll take your ship to a local harbor to have the motor fixed so you can return to the mainland after we submerge." Riptide said, looking at the charred remains of the motor.

Twilight nodded with a smile. "Thanks you," she replied, looking at the engine. "The Kelpie kind of destroyed it."

"Anyway, I'm Twilight Sparkle, this is Pinkie, Fluttershy (and her daughter Fluttercruel), Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo," Twilight introduced.

Fluttercruel took control. "It's a long story."

Riptide just raised an eyebrow at Fluttercruel. "Sounds like an interesting one." He said, sounding interested.

"I'm Kazashiro Miu. This is Nozama Tomoko, Joujima Yuuki, and Kisaragi Gentaro." The Alicorn of Psychics introduced, pointing to the ponies and Rider in question.

"And I'm Prince Blueblood, Princess Cadence's cousin." Blueblood said, rubbing his neck.

Later....

They came to the area where the trench was. It was clear water as far as the eye can see.

"Ok, now these suits let us use our natural abilities underwater," said Twilight. "We can swim, but they've got a gravity matrix based off the Giant Foot Module's technology."

"Which means?" Fluttercruel asked.

"It means when its activated, it'll be like we're on dry land, meaning the pegasi can 'fly' instead of swim and we can walk along the sea floor. But those of us that CAN'T fly shouldn't turn it on until we're at the bottom," Twilight explained. "Lets go," she said, jumping in.

"So essentially, we'll sink faster than a stone." Applejack said with a woozy voice, still seasick.

"Exactly." Dash said, then slapped Applejack's back, getting the earth pony to lose her balance and fell out of the boat.

Once everyone was in the water, the Sea Pony-drawn boat was being lead away. "I promise your ship will be in good hands. Poseidon takes great care of his boats." Riptide said, looking at the direction the other Sea Ponies were pushing the busted boat.

"And who pray tell is Poseidon?" Miu asked, perching herself on Gentaro, as had Dash and Adina.

"A Sea Dragon." Riptide said, unknowingly triggering Fluttershy's dracophobia.

"D-dragon?" asked Fluttershy, instantly go into 'paralyzed with fear mode' and beginning to sink. Thankfully she didn't have her gravity generator on.

Twilight caught her. "Fluttershy's dracophobic. We're not entirely sure why, she's too scared to tell us," she said, passing Fluttershy over to Dash to calm down.
