"Alright." Running Gear said. "... I wonder how we even got down here. I mean, the ground just suddenly opened up... It was weird." She said.

"Mmm... The-" Spike was about to say something when he suddenly hiccuped, followed by another hiccup, breathing out a tiny bit of flames which materialized as a letter.

Cadence nodded, calming down a bit but still trembling a bit. "Maybe it's like a sinkhole?"

Rarity blinked. "That's not the Princess's seal on it, is it?"

"I don't know, Cadance. I'm just really frightened. And I want to get out of here." Running Gear said.

"Nope." Spike said, picking up the letter.

"I'm worried for Twilight..." said Cadence. "And the Changelings...Though to be honest, Twilight is probably handling this better than me."

"Hello?" called a stallion's voice that Running Gear would recognize. "Is someone here?!"

"What's it say?" asked Rarity.

"Who- who's there?!" Running Gear yelled.

Spike opened the letter and started reading it out loud.

Adrian stepped forwards. "It's me, oh thank goodness you're alright. I was coming to speak with you again when the ground suddenly split open and I fell in."

"What?!" asked Rarity, dropping everything. "She's trapped?! Sweet Celestia! We have to get the others, now!"

"Well, seems like we're all stuck here, so stick close to us if you want to get out." Running Gear said. Sure, Adrian may have been a bit creepy, but she wasn't about to leave him behind.

"Yeah! We should!" Spike said.

Adrian nodded, following. He let several of his bat tattoos fly off and use echo location to guide them forwards. "Sorry I startled you...ponies tend to mistake me for being more menacing than I really am."

Rarity grabbed Spike and put him on her back, running. "Where would they be?"

"Don't worry. I don't judge based on first impressions." Running Gear said.

"At their houses, I guess." Spike said.

Adrian nodded. "You know, at first I was a little afraid of you," he admitted. "But you're much nicer than first impressions would imply."

"Alright, who's the closest?!"

"Why would you be afraid of me?" Running Gear asked.

"I don't know... Pinkie?" Spike said.

"Because you had that cloak and the burns...but now I see you're nice."

"Maybe Rainbow Dash, she's the fastest, she could help us find the others!"

''My cloak being creepy, I can understand, but... My burns?! I don't have them for show!'' Running Gear said, feeling genuinely hurt by that remark about her burns.

''Okay! Let's go look for Rainbow Dash!'' Spike said.

"I'm sorry," said Adrian. "...It's just they made you look a tad frightening, I'm truly sorry, but sometimes you're scared of things even when they're not frightening."

Rarity came to a stop in front of Rainbow Dash's cloud house and floated Spike up to knock.

''Why would my burns look frightening?'' Running Gear asked, trying to sound as calm as possible.
