''Didn't he say he wanted to meet Sakak? Bit of a creepy way to introduce yourself, though.'' Running Gear said.

"He's a creepy guy," said Twilight.

"He smelled really bad," said Aponi. "I don't know what it was, but one of his emotions stunk."

''Yeah. It did.'' Moth said.

''Twilight... I'm not the one to judge ponies based on first impressions, but... This stallion creeps me out...'' Running Gear said.

Twilight nodded. "I agree..." she said. "Oh well, let's not let him ruin our day, let's go have our picnic to take our minds off it..." she said, wanting to take hers off of it as much as Running Gears.

'"Great idea.'' Running Gear said. Listen to Twilight, Running Gear. Listen to Twilight. No need to let this creep ruin your day. She thought.

Shortly after, they set at a picnic in the park. "Well, here we are," Twilight said.

Aponi blinked, looking everything over. "So...which one is the picnic?" she asked, thinking picnic was a food, not the event.

Running Gear and Applejack both grinned slightly at Aponi's question.

''Aponi... The event is called a picnic. Not the food.'' Moth said, who seemed to be familiar with the term.

Aponi blushed a little. "Oh...my bad."

"Is Trixie the only pony who finds this the most ironic picnic ever concieved?" asked Trixie, noticing the odd group attending it.

''Ironic, no. Odd, maybe.'' Running Gear said. ''But hey, I'd rather sit here with you ponies than with a group of ''normal'' ponies.'' She said, grinning.

"Trixie meant ironic in that probably a week ago none of us thought such a picnic was possible," explained Trixie. "Trixie is fairly certain you six didn't expect to be having a picnic with Trixie, two Changelings, and a Draconequus, all three related in some way to one of your old foes (or in Trixie's case one of your old foes)."

''Hm... Now it does make sense.'' Running Gear said.

''Trixie, Ah've been meaning to ask... Well, not really, but Ah just noticed it: Why do yah speak in the third person?'' Applejack asked.

"Trixie started to add some uniqueness to her act, now it's just force of habit," said Trixie.

Aponi looked to the others. "Um...so do we just start eating or..."

''If you want.'' Rainbow Dash said.

''Ah. Right.'' Applejack said. ''Also, Ah'd never have thought our new friend would use the Canterlot voice.'' She said.

''We do use the Canterlot voice from time to time.'' Running Gear boomed. ''But very rarely.''

Cadence nodded. "I can do it, but I normally don't," Cadence said. "It's kind of an Alicorn thing," she continued, Luna nodding.

"Draconequi also can do it, just we really don't care for it," said Sakak. "We prefer dramatic lightning if we want to look more theatrical."

Aponi began eating a salad rather illmanneredly, not knowing pony table-manners.

''Dramatic lightning, hmm?'' Running Gear said. ''Well, I did learn weather spells... I could try that lightning thim.'' She muttered.

''Cue a remark from Rarity in 3... 2... 1...'' Applejack said.
