"Just the gauges, and we'll have to fire up the engine for some checks." Running Gear said. "You know, I've been thinking. Maybe I should dye my mane rainbow-coloured for the heck of it."

"I don't really have anything planned." Pinkie said.

"Well...it looks good on Rainbow Dash," said Twilight, looking around. She checked the gauges. "They look good except for the fluid levels, I think you were interrupted when I got burned."

"When has that ever stopped you before?" asked Rarity in a slightly deadpan voice.

"Hey, it rarely happens somepony gets a clear view of my mane." Gear said. "And yes, that's possible."

"That's true." Pinkie said.

"Sorry about that..." said Twilight, then looked around. "Think I can help?"

"Just...do something random and funny, like you always do," said Rarity. "You could be a clown."

"You can help by not apologizing." Gear said.

"Ooh, I could do that." Pinkie said.

"Oops...Ok," said Twilight, blushing. "I sound like Fluttershy now, she apologizes for everything."

''It's not a bad thing normally, but if there's nothing to apologize for, then it is.'' Running Gear said.

''Alright. I could do that.'' Pinkie said.

Twilight nodded. "Fluttershy practically apologizes for everything," she said. "But with her it's kind of cute..."

"Need anything?" asked Sakak. "Or should I just give you a bunch of stuff you can use however you like?"

''Yup. I've heard of Fluttershy before. She is pretty well-known in some towns.'' Running Gear said.

Twilight blinked. "Really? Was it from her time as a model?"

Sakak nodded, snapping his fingers and Pinkie was surrounded by a joke store's worth of props.

''Yes.'' Running Gear said. ''Anyway, let's get this engine fired up.''

''Oooh! So much things to choose from!'' Pinkie said.

Twilight nodded. "Ok, is this a coal engine or a magic engine?"

Sakak looked to Applejack. "How long will it take for her to pick something?"

''Coal.'' Running Gear said.

''Ah don't know. Could be immediately, could be hours.'' Applejack said.

Twilight nodded. "Alright, let's go," she said, looking around the place. "You weren't kidding when you said this place needs an overhaul, but I can tell you've done a better job than most ponies would be able to with what you have to work with."

''Thank you.'' Running Gear said. ''So, anyway, coal.''
