''Hey, it still happens to me from time to time, too, and I was the one who built the whole thing in the first place.'' Running Gear said when she returned with a bottle filled with water, pouring some over Twilight's shoulder. ''And I don't know if it comforts you, but transmission fires are worse than leaky steam pipes. I know. Some inventive ponies in a town whose name I again cannot remember built a vehicle which drove on caterpillar tracks. They had problems with the transmission, though. I tried fixing it. When they tested the thing out, a spark or something set the transmission fluid on fire.''

"So, will I get to see this Sonic Rainboom of hers?" asked Sakak, looking back to Rainbow Dash.

"That helps a bit..." said Twilight, now calmed down some. "I'd heal it myself, but I can't touch my own shoulder with my horn to do a healing spell..." she said, looking back to her. "I hope no one hurt that time, where they?"

''Ah don't think so.'' Applejack said.

''Everypony remained unharmed.'' Running Gear said. ''Still, that tracked vehicle did pique my curiosity. I've been working on improving their design in my spare time. Of course, it's been 2 years and I've not made an enormous amount of progress, but...''

"...When will she stop?" asked Sakak, noticing Rainbow Dash wasn't exactly slowing down on the stunts.

Twilight nodded, looking to her shoulder. "Do you have any bandages?" she asked, the burn still hurting. "...You know, you kind of remind me of Cadence a little."

''Don't know. When she starts becoming tired.'' Applejack said.

''... Really?'' Running Gear said, blushing. ''Anyway, yes. A bandage.'' She quickly said, levitating a first aid box over to Twilight and opening it, levitating out a bandage.

"Should I tell her her act is in? Or keep watching?" asked Sakak.

Twilight nodded, moving so she could apply the bandage. "Cadence was my foalsitter when I was a filly. We were so close. She always made me feel better when I was hurt. And now she's my sister-in-law."

''Your call.'' Applejack replied.

''Keep watching!'' Pinkie said.

Running Gear grinned. ''It's nice that some ponies see me as friendly.'' She said while applying the bandage to Twilight's shoulder.

"Alright...so, do you want to talk about anything while we wait for her to get tired?" asked Sakak. "Any questions you want to ask?"

Twilight gave a small smile. "Well, you are. I think you and Cadence would really get along...then again, she kind of gets along with most everyone, she's just that kind of pony."

''Well, lotsa questions. For how long have you known Running Gear, exactly? Just a bit curious, seeing as how the two of you are pretty old.'' Applejack said.

''Right.'' Running Gear said. ''I'm the opposite of that. I don't get along too well with most ponies. It's either my cloak, my immense amount of technical know-how, my laid-back attitude, or the fact that... Umm... Anyway, that are the things which often creep other ponies out.''

"Hmm, about a year or so," said Sakak. "I think you six using the elements to beat Nightmare Moon may have weakened the seal, I felt it, but it didn't break it. It may have weakened it enough for Running Gear to set me free."

Twilight put a hoof on Running Gear's shoulder. "You don't creep me out." she said with a smile.

''Right. So how exactly did Running Gear and you meet? You've mentioned it a few times, but you've never gone into detail.'' Applejack said.

''... Thanks. That... Really means a lot to me.'' Running Gear said.

"Oh, nothing special really, she found my totem, accidentally unlocked it, I thanked her most gratefully, she was grateful I didn't find her strange at all and we became friends..." said Sakak. "You six becoming friends was probably more exciting."

Twilight smiled. "I mean it," she said. "...Hey, would you like to learn mine and Cadence's little handshake thing? We always had fun with it."

''You make it sound like an Alicorn and Draconequus befriending each other is the most normal thing in the world.'' Applejack said.

''Umm, sure, why not.'' Running Gear said.

"It actually used to be perfectly normal," said Sakak. "Discord is the black sheep of the family. Not all Draconequus were like him."

"Ok...please don't laugh, it's something from when I was a filly," said Twilight, taking a step back. "Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake! Clap your hooves and do a little shake!" she chanted, doing the motions that go with it. She then chuckled. "Me and Cadence have had that since I was a filly. Believe it or not, that's the thing that foiled Chrysalis' plan."

''But there weren't Alicorns all over the place, right?'' Applejack said, trying to imagine a time where a Draconequus was considered normal.

''I won't ever laugh at something like that. I'd be no better than the ponies who laughed at me for always wearing a cloak. And how did that foil Chrysalis' plans?'' Running Gear asked.
