"No worries," said Twilight. She then practically fell on her back laughing looking at the picture of Discord.
''... What's so funny?'' Running Gear said, looking at the picture and stifling a giggle.
Sakak handed it to the others, Fluttershy barely containing laughter and Rarity unable to.
".. You all aren't bad ponies. You're the first ponies I've met who don't pester me about my blank flank." Running Gear quietly said.
"Can I see it too?" Rainbow Dash asked, ignoring Running Gear.
Rarity handed it to Rainbow.
Twilight looked to Running Gear. "Well it seemed rude to ask about it. I've seen adult blank flanks before, they're normally pretty sensitive about it, so I didn't want to upset you."
"That's quite a commendable attitude." Running Gear said. "But I'll be honest with you ponies: it burned off. ... An accident I don't want to speak about. I've been trying to get a new one, but to no avail." Running Gear said.
Rainbow Dash bursted into laughter when she saw the picture.
"Running Gear...I'm not sure that's even possible," said Twilight, looking at the burn, which was now visible. "At least I'm not sure it's ever happened...It seems more likely you've still got your original one, it's just been scarred over and isn't visible anymore...that's from my knowledge of normal ponies though, I don't know how that applies to Alicorns."
"You want to see, Applejack?" asked Rarity.
''Scarred over... Quite possible.'' Running Gear said. ''Never took the time to study it. Nobody ever sees it, anyway. Apart from you and Sakak.''
'"Sure.'' Applejack said, who had been listening to Running Gear's story up until now.
Rarity handed the picture to Applejack, snickering in the process.
"But I'm not sure, you're an alicorn and my knowledge only applies to mortal ponies so I don't know," said Twilight, uncertain.
"I'm not sure either, and I'm several eons old," said Sakak, shrugging. "But that answer makes sense I presume."
Applejack looked at the picture for a few seconds before she burst into laughter.
''... I suppose it does.'' Running Gear said before she levitated her cloak up and draped it over her back, hiding her scarred cutie mark and wings again.
"Sorry..." said Twilight. "I wish I could help more, but I can't..."
''It's alright.'' Running Gear said. ''Don't worry about me. And don't let me ruin your mood.''
"So, why exactly are you putting on a circus?" asked Rarity, handing the picture to Pinkie.
"Well I'm mischief," said Sakak. "It's my job to make ponies laugh and have fun, so what better way?" he asked. "A circus spreads laughs, so why not make one?"
''... Indeed. And I... Well, I just tag along with Sakak. We're both... Misunderstood... And Sakak treats me well.'' Running Gear said.
