Thread: LOD: A Beautiful Melody (Me and KrimsonNomad)

I pretended not to hear. After-all, if it weren't for finding-out about Melody when I had, who knows what woulda happened to me?

I settled for just squeezing his hand gently. "We're together again." I reminded him softly. And like Hell was I gonna let anything separate us again.

I was about to suggest lunch. then everything went hazy followed by me hearing something strange.

"It's coming back Neric... it's coming for his sword." a voice whispered.

I stumbled back as a piercing scream echoed in my head. Not of someone I know, but it still was terrifying all the same.

"Jericho?" I asked, worried. Melody turned-around at my voice and looked at him.

"..uhu... uhm... jsut bit hungry. How about lunch." I said doing my best to bluff.

I'd figure out a better time to tell her.

I raised an eyebrow to let him know he was caught, but didn't call his bluff. "Okay." I said easily.

"Good now I think they'll still let me in the camper cafe." I said, "I technically still do act as third incharge.

"Third?" I repeated, "Who's before you?"

"Chiron and Mr.D. Also did I mention he's actually got the first letter of my name right now? He calls me nickelson alot though..." I said.

I still led the way to the "cafe" really it was an outdoor kitchen very much like the one at camp, but the cook was actually a demigod who was always there.

"Hey Tanner how ya doin?" I asked

"Allo Jerico. wha can I chu?" He replied his jamacan accent very thick.

"No idea. Whats on the menu?" I asked.

Melody stared up at the man in amazement.

"An who is dis little one? a niece or something? Jason gotchu baby seeting eis kid?" Taner asked see the little girl.

"Uhm.... Ellie.. hope you don't mind.. But Er Tanner she's mine." I said.

I nodded. I was about to add something, but Melody spoke-up before me.

"You talk funny."

"Melody!" I cried, blushing in embarrassment at her straightforwardness.

"I can also talk like the terminator." Tanner said pulling off arnold swwhigfhdeguihi with perfection.

"So about lunch." I said.

aparently it was hamburgers something good and simple.

Melody beamed at him.

I shrugged.

So we all sat down at a picnic table. My personal hamburger had bacon, two burgers, a piece of sausage, and a lot of american cheese.

"Ah meat. Theres nothing better then dead food." I said taking a bite of my monster burger.

literally we called it that.

I made a face. "Beef. Ugh." I stole one of his fries.

Melody ate a huge bite of her cheeseburger. "Mmm......"

I rolled my eyes playfully. She is, without a doubt, your child. I mouthed to him.
