"I wouldn't mind." Trin said, as he refilled his mug. "But, how will we take care of all of them?"

"I don't know...they could go with the dwarf and meet us halfway..."

Rush drank the entire mug of sake in one swift movement. Guess i'll go prepare...

10 Hours Later

Rush sat on the back of the wagon, smoking from his pipe while keeping an eye on the misty forrest that enveloped them. He knew that this place had many things that went bump in the night. Luckily he had his Azure Crystal Bow with its magic arrows to "bump back". And even then, he had Trin, who was currently holding the reigns to the horses with him.

Trin payed close attention while tending the horses, as he knew the kind of things that happen in the forrest at this time of night. He turned to Rush, who was currently smoking his pipe while being observant as well. "We'll be well prepared right? In case we get "bumped" he asked him.

"Yeah..." As he looked into the forrest he swore he saw something move, but upon closer inspection, he decided it was nothing. "...we'll be fine"

"I may be wrong...but I thought I just saw something move..." Trin told Rush, wondering if he saw the same thing. "Who knows, maybe I'm losing it." Trin told himself.

Suddenly there came a "snap" sound from the woods followed by a muffled curse in a strange language

Trin, hearing the noise, cautiously got up, as he began to inspect both sides of the forrest as to what caused the noise.

Rush jumped off the back of the wagon and notched an arror.

"seems something is-"

Rush suddenly feel flat onto the ground as an arrow flew over him and embedded itself in the wagon.

"Crud! Are you alright Rush?" as Trin saw him fall down, nearly being hit by the arrow. Trin's distraction however, allowed another arrow to be shot. Trin ducked, as it missed him, however the sudden movement caused the wagon to rock.

Rush jumped to his feet and let loose with an arrow into the mist, hoping to hit something. but sadly did not here any sound to indicate he did.

"Hmm...they must have gotten better with hiding..." as Trin continued to look out for any signs of movement.

"Yeah i know and, HOLY SHI-" rush ducked as a sword flew at him from the darkness, missing him by inches. Rush immediately leaned back and delivered a savage kick to his attackers face, knocking him several feet back. But even with this small victory, he could here more bandits approaching

Trin caught the bandit's sword, as he immidiately halted the wagon. He flipped off of it, landing gracefully on the ground, as he heard the noises of people emitting from the bushes. "Get ready Rush...were about to have a little fun..." Trin said, knowing who were approaching.

Without a weapon in hand, Rush knew that he was very well at a major disadvantage. But he knew some decent hand to hand moves that could help him in this situation. Reacting quickly, Rush suprised his opponenets by charging headlong at them in a quick dash.

This second of suprise cost the the first bandit greatly as he was slammed to the ground as Rush punched him in the gut and then elbowed him in the back as he doubled over. Still using the momentum from his dash, he quickly slid towards his seocnd opponent and ducked under a clumsy strike. Reaching up, he easily grasped his hands and twisted them in a way that caused several bones to break. The bandit screamed as he dropped his sword and staggered backwards.

Rush leaned down and picked up his dropped weapon, spinning it in his hands to test the weight. Now he could do some real damage

"You didn't have to show off either." Trin winked at Rush, a sly grin on his face, his competitive and somewhat of an ego beginning to show.

He drew out his blade, unlike Rush, he had his ready. He flicked it around, as he immidiately began to run at the remaining bandits, as he swung his sword at them.
