"Yeah," Naoki chuckled, "This looks way more lively than I was expecting."
Rogue walked to a nearby couch and sat on it. She breathed a quiet sigh as she began to feel tired. Hoping the action would help keep her awake, she stretched her arms and legs.
"I don't know about you, but I'm ready to sleep a whole day." Rogue joked.
"Well if you do that, we won't be able to get to Nacrene tomorrow," Naoki chuckled as he stood near that same couch.
Rogue giggled. "True. We should probably head to bed now; we got an early start tomorrow."
"Aww, that's too bad," Naoki sighed, "I had wanted to stay up at least another hour...but you're right, we're going to need all the energy we can get for tomorrow."
Darkness blanketed the sky, announcing the arrival of night. The brilliant shine of the almost half-moon was dulled by the lights of the city. The lights in the Pokèmon Center were dimmed and the only sounds were the hushed voices of the few Trainers who were still awake.
Rogue lay in her sleeping bag, her stomach full from her meal. As she closed her eyes, a smiled formed on her lips. She was glad that Naoki had came with her, and thankful that she wouldn’t be alone on this journey. With those thoughts, she drifted off into slumber.

“… As the day moves on, expect to see light showers around Nacrene and Striaton later this evening. For those who will be traveling around the area, you might want to bring an umbrella just in case. Let’s take a look at other parts of the Unova region…”
“Guess we might get rained on. Oh well.” Rogue mumbled to herself as she watched the TV. It had been almost an hour since she had woken up and she was now almost ready to leave. Wandering over to a nearby window (and being careful not to slip, as she was wearing socks), she peered out it. The sky was gray with clouds and the streets were damp, despite it not raining. She stared out for a few moments before remembering that she still had to put her shoes on. Rushing over to her stuff, she nearly slipped and fell. After regaining her posture, she walked towards her sleeping bag and picked up her shoes, silently scolding herself for being careless.
"Ugh, I hate it when there's no sun," Naoki sighed as he checked to make sure everything was packed up, "It makes everything a lot more dull. Wouldn't you agree?"
He reached for his hat.
"Not to mention gloomy." Rogue said as she stood up from tying her shoes. She grabbed her denim jacket and put it on and started patting herself, feeling her needed items in the pockets of her clothes.
"All set?"
"Ready when you are," Naoki grinned, putting on his dark-green gloves and tightening them. He adjusted his hat to the perfect position.
"All right then, let's go." Rogue said as she headed towards the door. The outside air was slightly chilly and smelled of rain. Darker clouds could be seen looming over the horizon.
"Ya think we'll make it to Nacrene before it rains?"
"We'd better make it," Naoki chuckled, "This hat isn't waterproof. And I don't think I packed an umbrella...hm...maybe I should buy one in Nacrene."
"Scared of getting wet?" Rogue giggled. "Guess we better hurry then. If I remember right, Nacrene is... this way." She began heading toward the road that would take them to their next destination.
"Alright, I'll let you lead," Naoki grinned as he followed. After taking a few steps, he stopped and looked up at the sky for a moment, before continuing on.
"Okay!" Rogue said eagerly. Her pace quickened to a jog and soon enough she felt her shoes stepping in soggy grass. Looking around, she found herself in a small garden. Small ponds where dotted across it, with hedges lining them. A fountain graced the center. A stone path led out of the garden and under four wooden arches with vine-like vegetation growing on each one. Turning, she checked to see if she had left Naoki behind.
Naoki hadn't increased his pace at all, so he was understandably a little behind. He looked around as he caught up with Rogue.
"I forgot about this place," he grinned, "It's lovely."
