"Oh. Might have helped you climb."
"That would be really dangerous!" Jenny said after a moment.
"What about Rock Climb? That sounds ideal for a time like this," Jacob said, thinking out loud.
OOC: Are we going by legit standards with moves or just whatever makes sense?
"You know Rock Climb?"
((Whatever works best, I guess.))
"No...but I thought maybe you or Roy might. Or something."
Jenny turned to Roy. "Do you know Rock Climb?"
Roy thought for a moment, then shook his head; he didn't know Rock Climb.
"Oh. That's a shame. Guess we'll just have to scale this thing ourselves, then..."
"Indeed." Max leapt up higher.
Jenny, off balance and out of her comfort zone as a pure ground type, made use of the uneven surface and slowly climbed.
Jacob resumed going as he had been, trying to copy Max, but ultimately finding himself unable and simple pulling himself up from rock to rock. His brother did something similar, though Derek was slightly faster and stronger, being evolved.
Max, though he remained higher up than everyone else, often waited for them to catch up as they climbed.
Jenny, who was almost focusing more on holding on than moving upward, was a little relieved when he said, "I can see the top more clearly now."
"Great," Jacob said. "I'm not really liking this climbing business..."
"Neither am I," Jenny said.
"It's really close," Max encouraged them, though he wasn't sure how much it would help. He was actually feeling impatient because everyone else was so much slower than him.
Derek was inspired to move faster, at least, leading him to reach Max before the others.
Jenny eventually got there as well.
With some help from his brother near the top, Jacob finally made it, too.
