Jacob got to his feet hurriedly.
"Right!"
Jenny also stood, and Max did as well. Jenny went to the door and opened it with her trunk.
Jacob pulled his brother upright by his hand, and then left the room, leaving the Dewott to follow a few moments later, somewhat reluctant to abandon what had been last night's bed.
Roy stood up, swiftly following after them.
Jenny and Max went along with them.
New day, new adventure! Jenny thought, excited for the day.
Luke was where he had been standing the previous day, filling the role of receptionist. Jo, apparently, was either still in bed, or otherwise occupied.
"Good morning," Jenny greeted him.
"Morning," the Ivysaur grinned back. "Going somewhere?"
"Yeah," Max replied. "We're looking for a hospital."
"Ah, right. Well, just head further into town from here; you can't miss it."
"Thank you," Max replied.
"And thanks for letting us stay the night!" Jenny added.
"You're welcome back here whenever!" he said, taking her gratitude backhandedly.
"We'll be sure to come back here if we end up staying another night," Jenny said.
Max went out the door.
He nodded as Jacob and Derek followed Max out.
Jenny hurried after them.
Max began walking down the street, looking for the hospital, when he was caught unawares for a second time and hit in the head with a blue projectile.
"Mommy said you're not dangerous!"
