Dodrio and Rapidash are both really fast, but pokemon like Snivy and Treecko would be more likely to be here... Jenny thought. I've never known a Snivy to be particularly hostile, but I've never met a Treecko. Or maybe it's a pokemon we've never heard of? An undiscovered species?! "W-well, it seems like it would be a Snivy or something..." Jenny suggested. "I mean, they're fast, and I think mainly grass- and water-types probably live in the forest. Unless, of course, they're just visiting, like us, which is unlikely."

"I...I think it was taller than a Snivy-- there!" He pointed behind Roy; he had seen the figure again.

Roy turned to look where Jacob had pointed.

Jenny spun around to see it, but it was too fast, of course. "Servine?" She said. The evolved form of the pokemon was taller... "Or maybe Scyther!" Gallade? Gallade technically wasn't a grass type, but she was running through every green pokemon she could think of at this point.

Whatever it was, it delayed no more. It emerged from the bushes behind them, discarding the leaf camouflage it had adorned itself with, and tackled Jacob to the ground. It would take a moment to become clear, but after Jacob's initial yelp of surprise, his reaction suggested that he knew this almost ninja-skilled Dewott that had been chasing them.

Roy flinched, and waited to see what this Dewott did before he acted.

The Dewott stood back up, and let Jacob stand, too, then spoke to him in a seemingly-unintelligible stream of syllables.

Jacob frowned with mild disapproval. "Warum hast du das gemacht? Du erschreckte uns!"

Jacob sighed and turned away from him.

Jacob nodded and turned back to his brother.

"Okay," Jenny agreed. She followed after Roy.
