"Thanks. I'll contact you if I find out anything new, too," Max replied, exiting and going into the room where the others waited.
Jacob stood up upon his return.
"Are you all better now?"
Jacob grinned at Katrina's resumed antics.
"So what do we do now?"
"Explore a bit?" Max suggested.
"Take a tour! I'll be the tour guide! I'm a good tour guide!"
Jenny briefly wondered what the little sphere Max held was, but decided that if must be another potion of some kind. They sure have weird containers here.
Neither Derek nor Jacob expressed opposition to what Katrina proposed.
They accompanied, Derek silently wondering about the sphere Max had. It seemed somewhat familiar to him, but not so much that he could place it in his memory.
They began walking down the street. Katrina would sometimes yell out the name of a place and briefly describe it. "That's the library! There's lots and lots and lots of books there!"
Eine Bibliothek? Im Sumpf? Derek wondered. Ein bisschen komisch, aber es geht...
Katrina continued to call out places as they went.
"Why don't we stop somewhere and get a map of the island? We really should have done that earlier," Jenny said.
"But maps take all the fun out of adventure!" Max protested.
"...There are maps of this island?" Jacob asked in disbelief.
Jacob crossed his eyes for a moment, expressing his surprise at this.
"Hey, tour guide, where do we find a map?" Jenny asked Katrina.
"Oh! You could maybe find the maps at the tourist center!"
"Over... down the road... um... near the guest house! That's right! It's over there!"
