Ice to your Fire (Goose/Winter Enchantress)

"Because, apparently, I used to move around energetically, but it seems it was just a phase." Hyper shrugged, then faced Professor Elm.

After Luna named Winter, Drew nodded at Prof. Elm. "Well, I guess I'll be going to Cherrygrove City, since I've got some other things to attend to." He noted, then smiled at the girl. "Goodbye." Drew said before walking towards the door.

"That's a nice name." Hyper complemented. "I guess I'm going now, bye!" He waved goodbye at Winter before following his trainer.

"Bye," Luna replied as she looked at Professor Elm, "What about my Pokedex?"

"You'll receive that when you do my errand and visit Mr. Pokemon in Route 30." Professor Elm explained, "I want to see how good you and Winter are with doing simple tasks. If you can pass, then I'll okay that you do a gym leader journey."

"Okay," Luna nodded when she saw Winter begin following the boy and his Sneasel. "Winter! Stop!" she sighed in annoyance as she chased after her.

Now outside, Drew headed for the gates along with Hyper. Before they even reached it, tho, Winter had caught up with them.

"Hey there, Winter." He greeted, and seeing as how the Pokémon was there, Drew knew that not far behind must be her trainer.

Winter wagged her tails happily as she looked at Drew. Soon, Luna had caught up with them and panted.

"Winter..." she groaned, "Don't run off like that..." she then bowed in apology as she returned her Vulpix to its Pokeball.

Once Luna caught up, Drew looked towards the path he was about to take. "Where're you going?" He asked curiously, wondering if their paths might cross again.

"To Cherrygrove, and onto Mr. Pokemon's," Luna answered honestly, "Then after that, I head onto collect the badges. How about yourself?"

"Well..." Drew gathered his thoughts for a moment before replying. "I need to go to Cherrygrove to buy some things, so maybe we can go there together." He suggested to the teenage girl.

"Sure," Luna replied with a smile, "It would help because I'm not originally from here and have no idea where I'm going."

"Perfect, I'll be your tour guide then." Drew chuckled, then began walking down the Route. "Follow me." He jokingly said in a singing tune.

"Okay," Luna answered as she began following him, "I'm from Sinnoh, by the way."

"Sinnoh? That's rather far away." Drew replied as the pair walked. "What're you doing all the way down here?"

"To start anew," Luna replied simply, not wanting to say anything further.

Drew opened his mouth to say something, but instead shook his head. "Fair enough.", was all he responded with as they were halfway through the Route teeming with small Pokemon and young trainers.

"There's a lot of trainers," Luna commented.

"Yeah, they are. Even tho not everyone gets their first Pokemon from Prof. Elm, most of the starting trainers come around these parts since the Pokemon are lower leveled and such." Drew gave Luna an explanation. A brief few seconds later, they arrived at the main gate of Cherrygrove City. It was a small city in comparison to others, but it had a Pokemon Center, a PokeMart, and small communities of people living there also.
