Rose blushed as she took the bouquet from Shinn as she looked at the roses.

"They're beautiful..." she commented.

"Well that's the point." Shinn nodded his head and handed her the roses. "Though I don't think they're enough to show how beautiful you are."

"T-thanks," Rose blushed as she looked around, "So, how many girls have you been with since our first date?"

"Um...." Shinn looked down at his hand for a moment before raising it, showing her a fist rather than sticking any fingers. "None at all, I promise didn't I." he chuckled.

"You didn't," Rose answered.

"I told you that if I had a chance to date you then I didn't care about just being with you." Shinn nodded his head confidently. "To me that's like a promise."

"Yeah, but you're not with me yet," Rose answered.

"But I plan to be." Shinn smiled and stretched his hand out. "So how about a second date?"

"Why should I?" Rose replied.

"Why not?" Shinn asked simply and grinned.

"You haven't really proved anything," Rose answered, "You only brought me the flowers because you want a date."

"Well then is there a way I can prove myself?" Shinn raised an eyebrow as he curiously looked at her.

"I'm not making it that easy," Rose smirked.

"So you like to play hardball huh." Shinn grinned slyly as he raised an eyebrow at Rose.

"That I do," Rose replied.
