Thread: Hello Cold World (Octy & Jester)

The Sentret lifted itself up by using it's tail. Then, it slammed itself into Winter, and knocked her backwards. Winter growled as she got back up and released more embers. Sentret cried out in pain as it sustained a small burn. For a brief moment, Luna turned her attention over to Rex and saw that he was about to capture the Pidgey.

"You got this!" Luna cheered.

Rex looked away for a second back to Luna and nodded his head. He tossed the pokeball at the Pidgey, absorbing it into the small red capsule. After one click... two clicks.... and finally, three clicks, Rex had captured the Pidgey.

"Alright!" he cheered as he grabbed a hold of the pokeball. "Nice job, Dynamo. Return," Rex smiled to his Elekid. Rex then turned to look at Luna's battle and also began to cheer. "You got this!" he said with enthusiasm.

"I hope so," Luna laughed as she readied her Pokeball. She tossed it at the Sentret. The Sentret went into the ball before it began to shake. A few shakes later, a clicking noise was heard letting Luna know that she had captured the Sentret. Luna sighed in relief as she walked over and picked up the ball with her free hand. She put it away before returning Winter.

"Nice one!" Rex cheered to Luna. Just to make sure that his pokemon had actually been caught, Rex released his Pidgey's pokeball. The Pidgey glided into the air above the two of them and chirped.

"I think I'll name him Ace," Rex said. "What are you gonna name your Sentret?" Rex asked.

"I'm going to name him Cuddles," Luna laughed, "Because he looks so cute, fluffy, and cuddly."

Nocturna looked up at Luna and chirped.

Rex chuckled to Luna. "Cuddles... I like it!" he laughed. "Alright, no more distractions, lets get to Cherrygrove as soon as we can," Rex said.

"Okay," Luna laughed as she held Nocturna in her arms.

**Skipping to Cherrygrove**

After some walking, the two teens finally made it to Cherrygrove City.

"We're here," Luna announced cheerfully.

"Yes we are," Rex said to Luna. He took a look around the town before spotting a pokecenter. "There one is!" he exclaimed in relief. Dynamo hadn't rested since arriving in Kanto, and Ace had been damaged from the battle, so he would have to heal them at the pokecenter soon.

"Thanks for letting me go with you to Cherrygrove," Rex said to Luna. "Guess I'll be seeing you around?" he asked.

"I suppose," Luna answered, "I'll be heading for Violet City tomorrow, so who knows? Maybe we'll run into each other again." she smiled whole-heartedly.

"Wait," Rex said. "You're going to Violet City?" Rex asked. "You aren't taking the gym challenge, are you?"

"Yes," Luna answered as she stroked Nocturna's feathers.

"We are too," Rex said, pointing to himself and his two pokemon. Rex was about to ask to go on the journey with Luna, but he felt that asking that might put Luna in an uncomfortable position.

"Are you planning on challenging all of the gyms?" Luna asked out of curiosity.
