"Maybe I did," Luna said in a playful manner.
Rex laughed wholeheartedly before pushing himself onto his knees.
"We should get going before another person mauls us. Besides, if we wanna take on the gym when we get there, we better hurry," Rex said as he pulled his bag back onto his shoulders.
"Yeah," Luna nodded as she stood back up.
"But let's walk this time, we don't want to 'trip' anymore," Rex smirked, putting air quotes around trip.
"Hey! I didn't mean to fall," Luna pouted, "It just happens."
"You know I was just kidding," Rex playfully said.
"I know," Luna smirked, "Is it wrong for me to play right back?"
"I... I guess not," Rex said. He squinted for a moment before seeing the town in the distance. "We're almost there!" he said to Luna with a grin on his face.
"Yay!" Luna cheered happily as she grabbed his hand and began running towards the city.
Rex ran along with her, though he made sure that her dragging him was as dramatic as it could be.
Luna realized that she was holding onto Rex's hand, and stopped. Blushing, she pulled her hand away.
"I'm sorry," she apologized, "I didn't mean to just drag you along like that."
"It's okay, I can take a joke," Rex said, grinning.
"O-okay," Luna spoke as she began walking. She felt too embarrassed to go back to running.
"So do you think we're almost here?" Rex asked, hoping to defuse the tension.
"I think so," Luna nodded as she kept walking.
