"So, Van and I wanted to make a welcome home party for you." Edward pointed out before sitting down next to Rose and leanign back. "He went to get the party stuff, want to come with me and get the groceries?"

"I'm not sure if that's a good idea," Rose frowned, "My mother already claims that I'm a harlot."

"You're not." Edward shook his head and frowned. "We're just going grocery shopping how is that harlot...ish?"

"Because women will think I'm after their husbands," Rose said bitterly.

"Well I'm not anyone's husband." Edward laughed before standing up. "Besides, who cares what others say people are just too blinded by rumors."

"I just hope this stuff blows over soon," Rose sighed, "I'm not sure if me going out is a good idea though. Especially since the sun still really affects me."

"The sun is setting already." Edward pointed out.

"But still," Rose frowns.

Edward stood up. "Let's just go." he laughed.

"I'll catch up with you later," Rose declined, "I've got a lot on my mind at this point. I sincerely apologize."

"It's okay." Edward smiled and began walking out.

Rose sighed and continued looking into the fire place. She had a lot to talk to Van about, and she needed to get herself in line.

After the party was over, Rose was sitting near the fireplace, curled up next to Van.

"Can I talk to you about something?" she asked suddenly.

"Sure Rose, what is it?" Van smiled and put hsi arms around her.
