Thread: Frostbitten (Scarlet Enchantress & Stellar Gale)

Rose, still not entirely happy about Van buying the dress, began looking at the stock of dresses that were available.

Van walked over to her boss for a moment. "Excuse me ma'm but would it be all right if I ask what you know of this girl?" he asked curuiously, wanting to know a bit more about her situation.

"She hasn't been working here long," her boss began talking, "She was healthy until the doctor gave her the prognosis of Black Death. That was two and a half years ago. Her time is short, and she gets weaker and weaker."

"I see." Van said. He didn't think that such a lively girl like Rose was going through such a problem. "Poor dear."

"Yes," her boss sighed, "It's a shame that such a young life has to be cut short."

Edward looked at Van for a moment. "You're not thinking."

"Precisely." Vans tated simply.

"You're kidding." Edward frowned. "You know converting was prohibited." he whispered.

Rose kept looking at the dresses until she found a gold dress with bronze trimming. She grabbed it from the stock and walked towards Van.

"How does this one look?" she asked.

Van scanned the dress before he held it close to Rose and smile. "I think you'll look stunning in this."

"Okay," Rose gave a reassuring smile.

"Then let's get you ready." Van smiled. "Want me to help?" he joked.

"No, you wait," her boss said strictly, "I'll help her." Rose was then led into a dressing room and the curtain was closed.

"You're reallyd oing a lot for this girl." Edward pointed out bitterly before looking at Van, his face showing how bad he thought the idea was. "Why?"

"You wouldn't understand." Van shook his head. "If I have the power to help someone, then I should use it."

Edward sighed and ptu his hands behind his head. "You should just seduce her, bed her and be done with it." he sighed.

A few minutes later, Rose came out of the dressing room in the golden dress.

"Now, you must turn around while I put the finishing touches on her," Rose's boss instructed.

"Wow." Edward gasped. "Can't I call dibs?"

"No Edward, no you can't." Van pointed out before deadpanning.

"Had to try." Edward laughed before looking at Rose.

"You really do look beautiful Rose." Van smiled as he walked over to her.

"Stay turned around!" Rose's boss screamed the two men. Rose just giggled nervously as her boss had fixed her hair, and put on some jewelry.

A few minutes later, her boss coughed loudly to get the men's attention. "Now you may see her."
