Van sighed and looked at Rose. "I don't feel like I helped."

"You did the best you could, dear," Rose whispered, "Don't be hard on yourself for it. Let Kari and Edward talk this out." she nodded and gently led Van out of the room. Alexandria giggled as she smiled at Van.

"I know, but I just want to help her out." Van sighed. "I feel sad for her."

"You also just said she was being disrespectful," Rose narrowed her eyes, "She's hitting those teenage years. She's now dealing with the changes of puberty, being a vampire, and being a wife. It's a lot to take in."

"I know." Van nodded his head. "We should get ready."

"We should," Rose answered.

"Well I'm already ready." Van chuckled.

"Well, Alexandria and I are ready too," Rose commented.

"Then I guess we should get going." Van smiled.

"Okay," Rose answered, "But I won't hesitate to kill Max if he dares to even say a word about Alexandria."

"Okay." Van nodded his head.

After they had left he and Rose made it to Francois's mansion, though they were attended by his butler rather than Francois himself. "The young master is getting ready, though master Max is already in the living area." he gestured.

"I see, thanks." Van smiled.

"Thank you," Rose nodded. Alexandria held onto Van's neck.

Van held Alexandria and smiled. Once they walked into the living area he saw Max who instantly smiled. "Van it's so nice to see you again." he smiled cheerfully before looking at Rose. "Hello." he waved.

"Hello," Rose replied simply.

"It's nice to finally meet you." Max nodded his head before looking at Alexandria. He walked closer to her and smiled. "Oooooh she looks so cute." he said and waved at her. "What's her name?"
