"And I know you're lying," Kari growled, "I heard Rose talking to you..."

"....I'm honestly saying that that's the only thing she told me." Van nodded his head.

Kari growled.

"I know better," she answered, "You two were talking about how I was too young."

"To move out yes." Van nodded his head. "But if it's what you want then we shouldn't stop you."

"No, you said I was too young to have a family," Kari answered, "You knew because Rose talked to you about it."

"Well maybe." Van nodded his head. "It's just that we think that you need to you know...have a couple of years to settle and all that."

"and I don't think you know what's best for me either!" Kari answered angrily.

"Well sorry that I worry and care about you then!" Van exclaimed. "I thought we were family but you're just disrispectful to everyone around you."

"Van, that's enough!" Rose growled as she stood in the doorway, "Don't you dare talk to my sister like that!"

"I know but..." Van looked down at the floor. "I just want to help her you know but she doesn't even want to talk." he turned to Kari. "Kari, why is it that you hate us so much and that you hate living here so much it's not like we treat you badly, we never have."

"Well," Rose sighed, "My maternal instincts are kicking in here... I guess we should let her talk. Don't say a word until she's finished talking."

Kari groaned as she looked at Rose.

"You two always seem to have it so perfect," she began speaking, "You two are married, not having to worry about anything, you have Alexandria. My friends I had classes with are starting to do the same thing. I'm being left behind. It's not that I don't like living here, but I want to not feel like a child forever...." with that moment, she began crying again.

Edward looked at Kari and sat down next to her. "But you have me here."

Kari sighed before starting to sob again.

Edward looked at her and put his arms around her.

Kari kept crying as Edward hugged her. Rose frowned as she looked at Van.
