Kari sniveled before crying again.

"What is it?" she asked, not attempting to hide her sobs.

"I wanted to give you some news." Van stated from behind the door. "We found a place for you guys."

Kari refused to believe it and kept sobbing.

"It's true, I have a spare house that you and Edward can have as your own." Van stated bluntly.

"But we can't afford it," Kari sobbed.

"Don't worry the house is mine so you won't have to pay for anything." Van reassured her and smiled.

"Seems too good to be true," Kari sighed.

"Kari, who was the one that taught you how to ride horses." Van stated simply while looking at her.

"Rose," Kari stated in a matter-of-fact manner.

"Well I gave you lessons too." Van pointed out a bit embarassed. "And I always played with you and all, so you can trust me."

"I suppose," Kari answered.

"Come on Kari at least trust me, I mean why wouldn't you." Van frowned.

Kari simply shrugged. She didn't want to argue with Van. She just wanted to be left alone to stay in bed and cry.

"Come on let's go I'll show it to you." Van nodded his head before gesturing to stand up.

"Carry me Edward," Kari sighed.
