Thread: First Steps (MidnightSunset and Greece)

"Oh come on walking isn't that bad."

"Uhh.... Well, at least we have our Pokemon." Steven threw his dusty Pokeball, revealing a Small Beldum.

"Exactly!" Erin said as she pulled out her pokeball and brought out her Bagon "Now we have even more company!"

Beldum and Bagon gave each other a glare. "Uhh, I don't think our Pokemon like each other very much." sighed Steven.

"Maybe they'll bond over time." Erin shrugged

The kids headed out to the first route. "Hey! Erin! Look, a Poochyena!" The black dog-like Pokemon's head was sticking out of the bushes.

"Wow!" Erin said as she looked over at it "It looks amazing! And adorable..."

Steven nudges Erin. "Hey... I bet I can catch it before you can." Steven had a sly look on his face.

"You say that, but do you mean it?" Erin replied "And do we have any pokeballs?"

The look on Steven's face changed into a shocked one. "U-uhh.... uhh... N-no..."

"well I think there's a town just a little head, maybe they sell pokeballs."

The expression on Steven's face was gone; replaced with a happy one. "What are you waiting for?!?" said Steven half-way up the route. "The merchant's aren't gonna wait for long!!!"

"I was just giving you a head start!" Erin said as she chased after Steven "You can't stay ahead forever!"

"Wahaha!!! Yeah rig-" said Steven as he bumped into a young fellow with a fresh lab coat and a new pair of sandals.

"Steven!" Erin said as she caught up with him "You OK?"
