From one of my many conversations with That Guy:
"OOOOHHHHHHHH MARIE HAD A LITTLE LAMB—*ding* Good morning!"
"…DAFFAQ?"

Unbeknownst to them, the pair from District 3 felt the same way. Perhaps the fact that their stylists were already friends had something to do with this. In any case, the other Tributes began to arrive now, one District at a time. The first ones down were the two from One.
I still don't have a banner for it, but I'm going to keep the link to this wiki in my sig' anyway. Y'know, because it means a lot to me.
Birdsong - An exploration of the human psyche at a point of being highly unstable, yet stable enough to recognise its insanity. Also officially the second-best piece of dark fiction of this year's Winter awards season and Fic of the Month of March 2013. Interested? You should be. Give it a look.
Wes was reminded of the outfit Rouge had worn to the parade upon seeing her. He still thought it'd been a little risqué...

Given how flirtily she moved from the lift to a spot in this corridor in which to stand, it would be safe to guess that it was just typical of her to wear something like that. Next came the pair from District 8.

Jade thought she had seen Amy looking intently at Sonic a few times during the interviews, but she couldn't really blame her. However, Jade couldn't let her emotions get ahead of her during the games.

Next time the lift came down, it brought the pair from Five.

Wes didn't think too much of either of the boys.

One by one, the other Districts' Tributes arrived. Shortly, two Peacekeepers emerged from inside the Training Hall to open the doors, allowing the crowd in.

Along with the Tributes, Wes and Jade entered the Training Hall.

The Training Hall was a large space that had various stations, manned by trained Capitol professionals, that offered practice for both fighting and practical skills necessary for surviving in a variety of environments, including the more active, such as weapons training, and the passive, like camouflage or knot-tying. In this respect, nothing was given away about the nature of the arena they would eventually be left in. On a balcony overlooking the hall was a crowd of Capitol officials- presumably, the Gamemakers- who were watching with a questionable amount of interest, given the obscene amount of food and beverages they were being provided with.

Wes thought, Well, this looks like fun.

The other 22 Tributes, with varying amounts of hesitation, made their way to the different stations. Some were practising what they were already good at, just to make a show; others were trying to master completely new skills so that they could cover as many eventualities as possible.

Jade looked at the various stations. What could she try…?
From one of my many conversations with That Guy:

Logic would dictate that it would play in her favour most to try something nobody else was, for ease of access, and remaining inconspicuous. Additionally, perhaps the other Tributes wouldn't see her as a threat if she abstained from weapons training- but doing so would inevitably be a gamble of sorts.

She ultimately decided to try the archery station.
