Wes couldn't help but notice he was being followed. The blue fox would have to start the conversation this time.
Apparently, he didn't intend to, and was barely aware that there was someone in front of him, let alone someone going to the same room as him. The word 'autopilot' summed his movement up nicely.
When they reached room 110, there were already two people there; Lucas, and a masked vixen that Wes knew all too well. “Hey, sis.”
The vixen turned towards him, and almost knocked him to the ground running up to hug him. “Big bro! You're in my Music class!”
The British fox gave no response, and leaned against the wall a little bit away from the others. He was either depressingly unsociable, or shy.
A scorpion entered the classroom, and watched this scene with an amused expression.
“Geez, Mileena, ya don't have to tackle me every time you see me,” Wes joked.
“C'mon, big bro, it's been a while since I've seen you! Can't you allow it just this once?” she asked, turning on the puppy-dog eyes.
“Aw, no fair, you know I can't resist that!” he said, ruffling his younger sister's hair.
Another vixen entered the room after him, also amused by the scene.
A cat entered after her, followed by the teacher, a porcupine, who started to write down on the board a list of instruments for them to choose from.
“Anyways, sis, seems like class is gonna start any second now,” Wes said.
“Right!” She happily bounced off towards a random chair.
Wes sat down in his own chair, which was next to Lucas.
The vixen sat relatively close to Wes and Lucas, but the blue fox opted to sit as far from his classmates as he felt he could get away with.
The scorpion and the cat also sat relatively close. As the bell rung, the porcupine turned to the class.
“Good morning, class! I'm your Music teacher for this semester, Mrs. Fowler.” She wrote her name on the board. “Now, first things first, we need to go over attendance.” She brought out the attendance sheet. “Fun stuff, huh? Anyways... Blaze?”
“Here,” the cat replied.
“Jamie?”
“Yep,” the scorpion said.
“Leonel?”
“Yeah.”
“Lucas?”
“Right here.”
“Midnight?”
"...Yeah," the fox said quietly, loud enough to be heard but not so much that, he thought, he wouldn't draw attention to himself.
“Mileena?”
“Here!”
“Tanya?”
"Yup, here!"
“OK, that's everyone!” She put the attendance sheet in the clip on the door. “Alright, so today, everyone gets to pick their instrument for this class.” She waved her arm towards the board. Included in the list of instruments were flutes, clarinets, saxophones, guitars, violins, percussion(which in actuality was a drum-set), and a keyboard. “These are all the instruments I have. And please, raise your hand before saying which instrument you want.”
Midnight wasn't going to be the first to raise his hand- he had practically made a policy of it. Nevertheless, he decided that if somebody chose violin, he'd pick guitar, and vice versa.
Blaze raised her hand. “I'll pick violin, please.”
Mrs. Fowler nodded, and wrote her name besides 'violin'.
