Thread: Cold Fragments of Time – Arclights-Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal (Fushimi & Momoka)

"Congratulations, but I bet those duelists tried really hard. That poor Ryoga kid... I wonder why he was disqualified." III questioned.

"Trying hard got them no where." IV quickly retorted. "...Does it matter why he was? The fact of it was that he's the loser and I'm the winner because of it."

Huh, come to think of it... Why was he even at the tournament? Shouldn't he have been with his sister or whatever?

Looking down, III didn't especially like his brother's rudeness to those duelists, they probably tried really hard for that tournament. IV had to know that, and that made it worse.

"No, it doesn't really matter. Just... the look on his face, he obviously wasn't expecting it. It was pretty mean to just announce it all over the stadium like that..."

Feeling the air around him get tense from the subject of conversation, III tried to avert the subject. "So! Nii-sama, are you tired? I was thinking of maybe getting some sleep, I bet you're also sleepy..."

IV ignored III's comment, and then frowned once more. He didn't feel bad, but...

"I'm not really tired. If you are though, then get some sleep." He said back, sounding a little dazed.

"Oh, but... you've been out all day, so..." In truth, III was a bit lonely without IV. Before they lived at the hotel, IV was always with III. Always.

Nowadays, IV was hardly seen around III... it made him feel quite sad. "Nii-sama, uh... can I.... Nevermind."

IV looked back at III, somewhat confused. "...? What is it? Come on, say it." He ordered, feeling curious.

Slightly embarrassed, III looked over at IV while blushing. "Do you... uh... remember that one time you told you'd duel me...? Do you... do you want to duel me?"

OOC: They don't actually have to duel now. XD

OOC: Oh, okay. XD

IV simply stared at III a moment, looking puzzled. After thinking about it though, he finally remembered. "...Right now? Didn't you just say you were tired?"

Recalling himself saying that earlier, he looked down. "Oh. R-right, then... I guess we don't have to right now." The young boy slowly walked away and toward his room, and stopped before entering it. "Goodnight, Nii-sama." He then proceeded into the room and closed his door.

I really just wish... we could spend more time together. Nii-sama has been so distant lately, so out of my reach...

OOC: So III now has a room. I hope that's alright. XD

OOC: It's fine. I assumed they would each have one anyway. XD THE TEASERVICE. X3

IV didn't say anything back and then walked to his own room. Sighing, he layed down on his bed. Like I have time to duel just for "fun" anymore.

OOC: Good. Yeah, yeah. XD

After closing his door, III wondered what IV might be doing. He wasn't going to go check now though, since he figured he should get some needed rest... he lied down on his bed and fell asleep quickly. III had a dream... or was it a nightmare? In the nightmare, he was standing in a checkered space, along with his father, IV, and V. One by one, they each disappeared... Byron left, V left, and finally... IV was gone. Right before III himself could disappear in the dream, he woke up in a cold sweat.

"Nii-sama...!?" He shouted, as he got up from the bed and frantically looked around his dreary room. It was... only a dream. Just a dream... Feeling too scared to fall back asleep, he got up and opened the door to exit his room. Nii-sama must have gone to bed... I wonder what Tron and V-Niisama are doing.

Not sure what to do, III impatiently walked in circles around the halls. He wanted to perhaps wake IV up, but then another part of him didn't want to bother him. Walking up to IV's door, III stood there for a moment. He slowly moved his hand near the door in a position ready to knock... but it took him a while to do so. Finally, he lightly knocked on IV's door. "Um... Nii-sama...?"

IV hadn't been able to fall asleep, and was merely just laying on his bed. Thinking about different types of things... Things he could never really bring up to anyone.

Immediately after hearing III's voice, IV got up and went by the door. He was slightly annoyed, but he went over and opened the door anyway. Besides, III never usually bothered him in his room unless it was for a good reason.

"III? What is it?" He asked looking a little irritated. Noticing how III was sweating, he placed his hand on III's forehead. "Geez, you're sweating a ton." He quickly pulled his hand away though, and waited for what III was going to say. It better be good, since IV hated to be bothered, especially out of no where.

Knowing full aware that IV would be irritated for being interrupted from his 'sleep', III felt a bit bad. He knew that his brother liked his alone time by himself, just to think.

"S-sorry, Nii-sama... it's just... I couldn't sleep well and, um..." He wiped his sweaty forehead with his sleeve and wasn't sure if he should say what he was thinking right now. "I hope you weren't sleeping. Did I wake you up?"

IV scratched the back of his head, not knowing what to say. "Nah, I wasn't really sleeping..."

Looking back in his room, he looked back at III right after. "...You wanna come in?" He awkwardly asked, wondering why III was sweaty.

III quickly nodded and walked inside the room. Awkwardly standing, III looked around.

"I'm glad I didn't wake you up.... So... what are Tron and V-Niisama doing? Do you know?"
