OOC: That's fine. XD How are we gonna handle the duel...?

IV looked over at the girl with blue and purple hair. So this must be her...?

He isn't the Asia Champion yet, but that doesn't stop IV from being fake. "Yes, I am. I'm the one who sent you that letter, as I'm sure you're aware." He said with a fake smile.

Looking at her, he didn't know what to expect. Was she a strong duelist or something? She kind of had to be since Tron's wanting him to go to the trouble of dueling her, but IV didn't feel like she's worth actually dueling.

OOC: Oh god. For this one, should we skip the actual dueling up to the point she gets burnt?

So he IS the one.

"Alright then! So you wanted to challenge me? Good choice." She said, looking very confident in winning this duel. "I should at least know your name. I'm Rio Kamishiro."

Ready to show her skills, she put her D-Gazer on and got out her duel disk.

OOC: Well, we have no idea what her deck even is, so I'd say so. But, uh, how should we do that?

"Hmph, she seems confident..." He quietly mumbled getting his duel disk out. "Rio Kamishiro, huh? You can call me IV."

Getting ready for the duel to commence, before IV shuffled his deck, he looked at the card Tron gave him once more and put it in his duel disk.

I have no idea why I'm wasting my time here, but oh well. She better be as strong as she looks confident. I want at least somewhat of a challenge.

OOC: Just do a little skip like "The duel was going in Rio's favor and it was time for IV to put that card to the test" and then make the fire happen?

"IV..." It was an odd name, Rio wasn't quite sure if that was his real name or he was just going by that. Not one to pry on the matter, she just shrugged and got ready to duel.

I didn't tell Ryoga I was doing this duel, but it'll be fine. I'll win and get back home soon.

"D-Gazer, set!" As she said that, the A-R Vision was linked and the duel was ready to begin...

OOC: Not a bad idea. Alright then.

IV thought for sure the duel would be no problem. He didn't think he would have to use that card, but much to his surprise... The duel was going in Rio's favor. Despite how IV thought she would be, she was a highly skilled duelist.

Actually losing, IV was starting to get annoyed. He didn't want to have to resort to it, but having no choice, he activated the spell card Tron gave him. "Flaming Hell Blessing".

Upon the card being used, flames burst, but much to IV's confusion... The flames weren't A-R. They were real? Being unable to deactivate the card, the flames went right towards Rio...

OOC: Of course. X3

Winning the duel just as she thought she would, it was getting to be time for her to wrap things up. Of course, she couldn't yet since it was now IV's turn.

He doesn't look too pleased. Well, of course he wouldn't... I'm about to beat him.

And then IV played a card that Rio had never seen or heard of... "Flaming Hell Blessing". "Flaming hell... blessing? I've never..."

Flames burst out from the card and they weren't A-R, they were real, burning flames. The impact caused Rio to fall backwards and right near the fires, hurting her quite a bit. "Ugh..." Unable to move from the blast, she lied on the ground, surrounded by fire all around.

What's with this card!? The flames are real...?

Noticing how Rio got thrown to the ground, IV had no choice but to go over and try and help her. Unfortunately many flames were surrounding the area, making it more than just a little difficult.

"Shit... These damn flames are getting in the way!" IV mumbled still trying to get over to her. He couldn't just leave her after all, since he caused it. Finally making it to her, a part of the building fell right near him and scratched his right eye, bleeding it.

Trying to shake off the pain, he managed to pick Rio up. "Hey.... Are you alright!?"

Gritting his teeth, he began to walk out of the flames, holding Rio and where his eye was hurt. Finally making it far enough from the fire, IV put Rio down, trying to make sure she sure was still breathing. Luckily, she was, but she looked pretty injured...

Being suddenly pulled up, she opened her eyes slightly to see that IV had helped her up. His eye was bleeding, it was sure to scar.

"Bleeding... your eye, it's bleeding!" She reached for IV's eye and touched it, then pulled away. Her hand was covered in his blood, she knew the injury was serious. Of course, she also suffered a substantial amount of damage, more than even IV. "That card, how did it do this?!"

Finally making it out of the flames, she was put down and began to cough from the smoke that she had inhaled. "Ryoga..." She thought of her brother. Rio didn't want to be brought to a hospital or anything of the sort, she really only wanted to see him and tell him not to worry for the upcoming tournament he was about to enter.

Coughing some more, she tried to cover her mouth with her hand that was now covered in blood. As she was doing so, she began to feel faint and passed out from the heat she was feeling and all her other pain.

OOC: I assume that Shark was going to enter the tournament soon, right?

OOC: Yeah, I would think. But wait, the tournament would have to be really soon, right? because Shark seemed to have just found out about Rio's injuries during the finals of the tournament.

She was worried about my eye, even when her injuries are so much worse than mine...?

"Ryoga...?" IV wondered who she was talking about, but then tried to stop even just a little bit of the blood. Her hand had so much blood on it, and the way she passed out... Things were not looking good. Her injuries were much more serious than IV initially thought.

Laying her back on the ground, IV got up and called an ambulance. He couldn't stick around though, as much as he felt bad for causing it. After catching sight of the ambulance coming, IV ran off and hid behind a building. Now out of sight, IV began to walk away, still trying to process what just transpired.

Why.... Why did that card do that? Why did Tron give it to me? If that girl isn't okay... It'll be my fault.

OOC: Yeah, that sounds about right.

Upon passing out, Rio had no idea that IV called an ambulance and she was taken to the hospital, unable to tell her brother that he should concentrate on the tournament and not worry about her.

III waited for IV to return anxiously. He was a bit of a worry-wart and couldn't sit still at home. Not sure of where V and Tron were, probably watching cartoons... he didn't have anything to do except wait.

"Nii-sama..."

IV returned home, and saw III waiting. He didn't say anything to him though and was about to walk towards Tron's room until V walked out.

"IV, you're back. Tron told me to tell you to enter this tournament that's going on today." V instructed his younger brother and gave him a paper to enter the tournament.

As soon as he finished saying that, V left the room and went back to where ever he was before coming out.

IV stared at the paper with a look of puzzlement. "What...!?" He had no real choice though, so he was going to do it, but that didn't stop him from becoming confused. Looking at the paper, there was a list of the participants... one name was "Ryoga".

Ryoga. That name... It was the name that girl, Rio said.

Seeing IV come home brought a smile on III's face. He got up from sitting down and rushed over to IV. "Nii-sama, you-" No reply came from IV though, as he kept walking and went towards Tron's room.

He seems to be in a worse mood than usual. I wonder what happened.

III could tell that his brother was not acting like himself, and he peeked into Tron's room to see IV standing, with a piece of paper in his hand. "A paper? Nii-sama seems a bit perplexed by it..." Walking in the room more, he went up behind IV to take a glance at it. "Is something wrong..?" He innocently asked.

IV jumped from surprise, not expecting to see III behind him. He quickly hid the paper behind him even though he wasn't quite sure why, and looked over at III.

"What gave you that idea? Of course something is." He coldly replied.

Feeling a bit worn out emotionally, IV sat down. Not only about what just happened... But now he had to go into some tournament suddenly? IV started to feel sick thinking about the fire, but...

That fire may have been my fault... And that girl could be fatally wounded because of it. But, no. I shouldn't feel bad. It was for Tron... Our father, and for our revenge. Maybe once I do this tournament, maybe he'll finally approve of me.

Noticing how IV hid the paper as III looked at it, that made III curious as to what the paper said. It must have been important in some way.

IV's sarcastic and cold tone, made him sigh a bit. Of course something would be wrong, but it didn't hurt to ask. "Nii-sama, is it something... you can't talk to me about?" He asked, walking over to IV as he sat down.

Glancing over at III, a frown remained. "It's nothing you should be concerned about."

Crumpling the paper, IV made a little smirk. "I... Just have something Tron wants me to do."

Yeah, I shouldn't feel bad about that. All I need is to focus on revenge... And besides, it's only natural for some people to suffer along the way because of it.
