Thread: The Chaos Rift *Me and Knight of Day*

PMD: The Chaos Rift
Plot
It was an adventurer's dream. It was a regular pokemon's nightmare. It was... The Chaos Rift. It was filled with more
treasure than a pokemon could imagine, but was incredibly dangerous. The rift was filled with last-evolution Fire and Dark type pokemon, and had traps every few steps. And now, two adventurer's dreams were about to come true, though it would quickly become a nightmare.

Two pokemon fall asleep in their houses, with no idea what was about to happen. They hear a strange noise in the back of their heads.

"You never know what the Chaos Rift is like until you come. You never know where it is until you find it. You simple never escape. But if you can brave these shadows, you will be rewarded beyond your dreams. DO you wish to enter... the Chaos Rift?"
These two adventurers find themselves in a stone hallway, divided into two sections.
"Choose the section to the left to enter," the voice says. "Choose the right to leave."
These two pokemon were brave at heart, and headed down the left section, into a black and red portal. Suddenly, they are standing on a small mountain, trees surrounding it as far as the eye can see. They jump into a large cave with red light coming from it, knowing this was... The Chaos Rift.

Adventurer

Illusion was beginning to rethink all this as he jumped in. Maybe he should've taken the right path... No! He was an adventurer. He ould do this and get out alive with treasure.

He jumped.
There was a strange rippling sensation going through Illusion's body, and then his mind felt blank. Illusion fell to the ground, fainting.

Bolt ran over to him, panicking. "Illusion! Are you alright?" he asked, picking him up.

"Yeah," he said. "Never been here before, it was kinda sudden. Let's move farther down."

Bolt nodded, walking forward.

Illusion continued moving forward, disguising himself as an Entei with his ability.
"Now they shouldn't attack us," he said.

"But...what about me?" Bolt asked.

"In that case," Illusion said, changing into Mewtow instead. "I'll tell them you're with me."

"O-Okay," Bolt said, suddenly frightened by Illusion's appearance.

"Get used to it, for now," Illusion said, walking deeper into the dungeon. THe okemon seemed to mve aside as he walked.

Bolt was suddenly swept into a small, but growing black hole in the floor. He began to sink deeper and deeper.

"Help!" Bolt called out.

Illuson heard Bolt cry out.
"Dark pulse!" he said as a pulse of dark energy swept over the area, destroying the trap.

Bolt lay on the ground, panting. Three Houndoom had began circling around him, using Flamethrower.

"Great," Illusion said, knocking the Houndooms away with another Dark Pulse and then running to Bolt, changing into an Arcanine as he went.
"Jump on," he said.

"Thanks..." Bolt said, weakly jumping on.
