"Oh, so where do we start...with this training?" Tye asked. "We need to start somewhere, I would assume you have a good idea of where?"
Clarissa nodded, standing up. "Follow me, kid," she turned, walking towards her kitchen. A rather large, spacious kitchen. Being a professional Brawler Sponsor paid good money.
Tye followed Clarissa, "You have a very nice home" He commented. "You make a lot of money for a young lady" He thought aloud, "Do you Sponsor for a living?"
Clarissa chuckled. "Yeah, pretty much," she stated, opening the door. It let to a large outdoor field. She lived in the countryside, so there were spacious backyards everywhere. However, hers was quite so.
"Here is where we will conduct our first test," Clarissa walked toward the field, turning to pick something from her pocket.
Tye followed her still, "And so this test is what exactly?" I never thought I'd be Brawling...that's for sure, especially since... His train of thought was broken due to the memories that he started to recall.
Clarissa looked to him. "Hey. Shape up and focus!" she called to get his attention. "You're test will tell me everything I need to know."
Clarissa held up her hand. "Simply... touch this," she held up a sheet of paper.
Tye smirked "I don't think I said anything about my abilities" There has to be more to it, and why does she call me kid? "So what is the catch Clarissa?"
Clarissa smirked. "No catch~"
She held out the paper. "Just touch it."
"My abilities, I wield the power of lightning, I found out when I was 14" Tye smirked, he was merely a blur as he shot forward to touch the piece of paper. "Which means I have exceptional speed."
Clarissa smirked as he touched the paper.
"Oh, by the way... I lied~"
Soon, the paper began to glow, blasting Tye in an explosion of power.
Tye flew back, rolling backward into the center of the field. The explosion bruised him slightly, it also seared part of his shirt. This partially revealed his lean torso. Tye got up, being 6'4 at 16 had it's advantages, he could take a little punishment. He smirked, "What next?"
Clarissa blinked. And then nodded. "Now? You eat," she stated. Walking past him, she patted his shoulder. "You actually passed. Great work~"
"Eat? Why?" Tye asked as he followed Clarissa. He then smirked, "Was there really any doubt I'd pass?"
Clarissa stated, "because when you pass, you get to eat."
She walked in, holding out a chair for him. "And yes, yes there was. In fact, I was almost sure you wouldn't pass."
She was lying, however. She'd had a feeling about him.
"And if I failed I didn't get to eat?" Tye said sitting down. I guess I do have to listen to what she says... "How would I have failed? If I died in the explosion?" he laughed uneasily.
