It recoiled, and turned to fly at him again.
From one of my many conversations with That Guy:
"OOOOHHHHHHHH MARIE HAD A LITTLE LAMB—*ding* Good morning!"
"…DAFFAQ?"

Ready this time, he attacked it again, looking to kill it.
I still don't have a banner for it, but I'm going to keep the link to this wiki in my sig' anyway. Y'know, because it means a lot to me.

He succeeded in doing so, as the stingray dropped to the floor, dead. It seemed that the ladies had succeeded in killing the other two stingrays, as a mask dropped from the ceiling onto the floor.

"A...no...ther...mask?" Carl asked. "Wait...How did that...get in here...anyway?"

“I dunno,” Lucy said. “I guess we shouldn't ask questions in here.”

Carl shrugged.
"Okay...but I...am not...touching that."

Whitney picked up the mask, closely examining it.
Lucy said, “What's funny is that you're the only one grossed out by all this.”

"We're inside a giant fish!" Carl exclaimed, then clapped his hands back over his mouth, quite forgetting, for a moment, his paranoia.
The mask they had recovered was less of a mask and more of a hat, and it strongly resembled a fountain that contained ornamental coins, and a silver ring, all of which were physically part of the hat and could not be removed. It also boasted a strap to go under the wearer's chin, to hold it in place.

Whitney commented that the hat looked quite fancy.

Bijou looked at it intently, letting out another "Hmmm...". It had her attention, but she didn't seem to want anything more than to just stare at it for now.

“Wonder what this one does?” Lucy asked.

Carl shrugged his ignorance, not about to be suckered into opening his mouth again that soon.

Turning to exit the room, Whitney said that she was sure they'd find out in time.

Carl nodded, finding himself hoping so.

In the next room, there was another tentacle hanging from the ceiling, this one green in color.
