"Great. Let's go, then."
"Right," Lucy said, opening the next door.
Carl began to proceed, far from willing to hang around longer than necessary.
Inside the center of the next room was a large, deactivated robot, green in color.
“ROBOT IDENTIFIED AS E-117 SIGMA,” Omega stated.
“...Are those Sega Dreamcasts in it?” Lucy asked.
“NEGATIVE.”
"What are you two on about..?"
“Those grey things in it... Don't they look like Dreamcasts? The consoles Sega released back in 1999 or so?”
"I know what a Dreamcast is, thanks...and...n- well, maybe they do, a little."
At that moment, Sigma awakened.
“INTRUDERS DETECTED,” she announced. “MUST ELIMINATE THE INTRUDERS.” With that, eight rocket launchers emerged from its body, and started firing.
Carl grimaced, then realised that he was in danger, and started dodging.
The missiles homed in on them, but exploded after a while of not hitting them.
"OBSERVATION: ROCKET LAUNCHERS APPEAR TO BE SIGMA'S WEAK POINTS," Omega observed. "DIRECTING ATTACKS TOWARDS THEM RECOMMENDED."
"Huh. You'd have thought it'd be a little less obvious than that," Carl mused, proceeding to try an attack on one launcher.
His attacks had no effect, except for maybe some minor dents.
Whitney suggested that maybe they needed to stun the robot before they could attack.
"Tch; it's never straightforward, is it?"
“I wish it was,” Lucy sighed. “Maybe we can knock its missiles back at it...?”
"Looks like that's the only thing we can try right now."
