Carl followed behind Sahel, down the corridor in question.
In the next room, there were two more ice-monsters guarding a torch holding blue flames.
"Blue fire, now? Like I said: twilight zone..."
“But we'll have to get past those two ice-monsters first,” Lucy pointed out.
Whitney used her mechanical hook to damage and approach the monster, then used her laser sword to slash it to pieces, but ended up getting frozen by the other monster.
Carl hurried over to exact vengeance on the monster via his feet, kicking it into oblivion.
Whitney broke out of her icy prison shortly afterwards.
“Alright, now...” Lucy said. “How are we gonna get this blue fire to the red ice?”
"Is 'by hand' an option?"
Lucy attempted to scoop some of the flames into her hands, but her hands just passed through the cool flames.
Whitney then had a thought, and reached into her mechanical arm, pulling out a bottle.
"How will that make any difference?" Carl asked.
"Don't be so hasty," Sahel said. "It is not a normal flame. Hence, it need not follow normal flame physics."
Whitney approached the flame and swung her bottle at it, scooping some of it into the bottle. She quickly corked the bottle so the flame wouldn't escape.
"You see?"
"Cool...if you'll pardon the pun."
With the fire they needed in hand, Whitney started back to the frozen door.
Sahel followed her, as did Carl, a moment later.
Back at the frozen door, Whitney emptied the blue fire onto the red ice, which melted it.
“Heheheheh...” Beat laughed to herself. “Fire! Fire! Fire! Fire!”
"Yes, Beat, fire..." Sahel placed a hand on Beat's head. "But try to calm down."
