Whitney blushed at this.
Lucy folded her arms and cast him a doubtful look.
"What a charmer. But you know you're wasting your time, don't you? Actually, don't answer that- I know you do."
“You're right, we should get going,” Lucy said.
Whitney nodded.
"Yes, let's." Sahel resumed showing them the way.
They eventually reached the Ice Temple.
Whitney asked Beat and Sahel if they were going to accompany them into the temple.
"I don't see why not."
Nodding, she entered the Ice Temple.
Carl went in next, followed by Sahel.
Going down the frozen hall, they found themselves in a large room with three creatures made of ice.
"Shall Beat and I take care of them, or is this all you?" Sahel asked, doing what one could only assume to be the courteous thing in escorting visitors around a temple that contained monsters of some kind.
Whitney shook her head; they could handle themselves.
Lucy cautiously approached one of the monsters. It turned towards her and blew icy breath at her, encasing her in ice.
Cautiously, Carl tapped on the ice that trapped Lucy, seeking to free her.
The ice easily broke off of her, and she broke out on her own in a few seconds.
“OK... I'll remember not to do that,” she said.
"Yeah...Let's try to be a bit more careful, alright? Now, if we're allowed to get started this time..."
Whitney considered using her Fire Rod, but that would endanger the Ice Temple. She then got an idea, and shot her mechanical hook at one monster, which broke off a chunk of it and pulled her towards it, allowing her to draw her laser sword for the last two strikes.
