In a humble display of sorrow, Leonel started to cry.
Travis' soul reentered its body, reviving the young bat. As he sat up, he asked Leonel, "…Uh, Dad? Why are you—"
Without any warning, Leonel turned and pulled his son into a hug.
"Dad…"
"Travis… you have no idea… I thought I'd lost you…"
"...Daddy..?" Jeane was beginning to return to consciousness now, too.
"…Jeane… Let's go home."
"Where's...my doll?"
Leonel wiped his eyes, and saw the newly reformed doll. "Here it is," he replied, giving the doll to Jeane.
She had gotten to her feet in time to receive it, and hugged it, oblivious to the nightmare it had just stood for not a few moments ago.
"Okay. Daddy, Travis, yes- let's go home."
Leonel took her hand, and they started the walk home. Travis thought, This'll be a good story to relay to Jake and Megan…

~Russian Girl~
She's a Russian girl/I'm welcomed like music/Music! Music.../Which I don't understand.
"В этом случае все было организовано," the Czar of Russia announced to the company at the table- his wife, his daughter, and the current Blazian royal family- plus Midnight, who was sitting in as a translator. "Моя жена и я буду идти вперед, чтобы Фернберг на самолете, и моя дочь-сопровождение, конечно, должны, в порядке королевской тур, посетить наш стенд."
"The Czar has decided on his family's travelling-arrangements," Midnight translated for the Blazian royals. "He and his wife intend to fly north, to the city of Fernberg, and his daughter is going to be escorted on a royal tour of Blazia, ending up in that city some time later."
"Are they aware that the main thoroughfare between here and northern Blazia is mostly desert?" the King, Elagabalus, wished to know.
Midnight turned to the Russian royals. "Мой король обеспокоен тем, что по дороге на север слишком враждебно, как она проходит через пустыню."
"Это не имеет значения," the Czar told him. "При правильном сопровождение, моя дочь будет преодолеть любые трудности, она может столкнуться."
"He says that she'll be fine, so long as you provide the right bodyguards."
And who'll the bodyguards be...? Cal wondered.
"Hm..." The King seemed to be pondering the same question. "Well, here's a crazy suggestion. Why don't we send Rex, Cal and Jonah? They're all around Anastasiya's age, and they've proved themselves more than capable as bodyguards after the incident at the MSC a few months back."
"Much as I'd like to dispute that," Queen Elizabeth put in, "for once, I think you might be right. We could spend excessive amounts on bodyguards, or send some of our own royal stock, but it may come as being more beneficial to send genuine Blazian people to look after her, rather than paid extraneï, who, most likely, won't care for her quite half as much."
"Well, son?" The King addressed Cal. "Would you and your friends be up for escorting the Russian princess?"
“I... Sure, OK.”
"Good to hear."
"What about me?" Octavia, the current Princess Royal, chipped in. "Can I go with them?"
"I'd rather you didn't," her mother decided. "You'll understand why when you become Queen."
"Oh, okay." She was easily silenced.
"Okay?" Midnight asked, and, after a moment, proceeded to relay the developments to the Russian royals. "Мой король решил послать своего сына и двух его друзей, чтобы сопровождать свою дочь, как он чувствует, что это обеспечит более тщательную и всестороннюю защиту, чем заплатил наемника."
"Очень хорошо, пусть будет так."
"He's cool with it."
“Я надеюсь, вы хорошо заботиться о моей дочери,” the Czarina said.
"...And she hopes the three of them are up to the task." To the Czarina, Midnight added, "Я бы не стал беспокоиться, они три очень способные молодые люди."
