"Don't worry about it," Travis told Valencia as he followed the others inside. He looked around, not sure what to do or if there was anything he really needed.

"So, where do we go first? The Battle Area? The Food Court? The roof?" James asked in a hastily manner, anxious to get around.

"Well we just ate... I was just going to go in the first store we see but I don't really care what we do!" Danny said cheerfully. He was happy just spending this time with his new friends.

"Maybe I could buy some TMs," Valencia muttered to herself as she walked off.

"TMs? That sounds like a great idea! I think I see a store for that right over there!" Danny said, running toward it as he was talking.

"Oh, that's convenient," Valencia chuckled as she changed direction to follow Danny.

The store was rather small but the walls were lined with colorful discs organized by color, which represented the different types. "Woah, this place is great. But it looks like a lot of these are pretty expensive."

"You're right," Valencia frowned as she looked at the various discs, "Fortunately, most of these seem to be incompatible with Psyduck...or simply not useful for him."

Two discs caught her eye, however: TM29 Psychic and TM13 Ice Beam. Checking the prices, she only had enough for one.

"Well...Psyduck will learn some Psychic-type moves on his own, so I think I'll get Ice Beam," she said, grabbing the pale blue disc.

"Wow, you know what moves your Pokémon will learn?" James asked Valencia in amazement. He then came to a sudden realization: He didn't know a thing about his own Pokémon. He blushed slightly at the thought, then looked around nervously as to hide the rosiness of his cheeks.

"Yeah, I did some research on Psyduck and Golduck a couple months ago," Valencia explained.

"Ah, I see." James nodded after shaking the embarrassment off. "What did you learn?" He added, now somewhat curious.

"Well, my little Psyduck will eventually learn a powerful move called Zen Headbutt," Valencia replied, "Though there's a good chance he'll have evolved by the time he learns it."

"Ooh. And, if he hasn't learned it by then, does he still get the chance to learn the move?" James asked a follow-up question as he picked up a nearby TM that had a ring as blue as the sea.

"Well, I don't see why he wouldn't learn it to begin with," Valencia commented, "But I hear that every region has someone who specializes in moves that Pokémon learn while leveling up."

"That's a neat thing to be able to do." James commented, chuckling to himsel. He placed the disk back in its place. He then took out his PokéDex, and in a few seconds, had his Piplup's page open, checking it.
