((Alright, I'm skipping.))
That afternoon, Calvin was sitting on the couch, looking impatient and tired. Camille was busily trying to do her hair, with little success.
Maya was laying with her head on his knee, looking sleepy.
"When do you suppose we'll be able to leave?" Calvin grumbled. One could tell he was getting restless.
"Dunno." Maya was trying to be patient, she really was, but Mr. Grumpypants was starting to annoy her.
"I'd love nothing more than to hunt them down and make them beg for sweet release."
"Hey, Blood Knight! Shaddup!" Camille called.
"Sadistic, much?" She reached-up to stroke his hair, and frowned. She couldn't reach his head from where she was. "Get down here." She ordered.
He did so, confused.
She started fiddling with his hair. "Much better."
"What are you doing?"
"Playing with your hair. It helps me not be nervous."
"Riiight...
"What? I thought you like when I play with your hair."
"I never said whether I do or don't. But I'm thinking."
"What about?"
"My good family."
