"I don't want to go out either," Luna sighed, "I just want to be alone in my room." Kayla groaned in annoyance.
"I'm not going to let you do that," she responded.
"You can go to one of the locker rooms if you want to rest or mope." Valerie stated simply. "You've got about two hours."
"No, she needs the fresh air," Kayla nodded.
"Well then you can go walk around the stadium." Valerie nodded her head.
Nate was sitting with the rest of the trainers in the stands, arms folded silently. He was quite interested to see the battle and how his fellow competitors actually battled. Unsurprisingly, it seemed Luna was upset with something, which only caused Nate to roll his eyes and shake his head.
"No..." Luna answered, "I can't face Josh now...I just can't. I know I'll see him around here somewhere...I ruined everything as it is..."
"What you thinking now Mr. Snot?" Mike asked Nate a little annoyed with Nate's attitude while Yui eagerly watched the battle unfold.
“Hey, what are you-?”
“Oh, don’t mind me. Random celebrity interested in cameras, is all.”
Joe smiled sweetly at the cameraman who approached him in the middle of tampering with one of the cameras. Well, tampering was a bit strong. He was enhancing it, really. Really.
“Well, bye!” Joe cheered, and rushed back off to his place in the stands. He nodded to Josh as he sat. “The device is set.” he said.
“Sweet.” Josh nodded his appreciation. Now the footage of the battle would be recorded and transferred to their set-up at the house. They’d be able to peruse it to their leisure and learn their competitors style
They both settled down with Doritos and lemonade to watch the battle.
Drake sat in the stands waiting for the battle to take off, he didn't pay much attention to anyone else around him. Servine, the only Pokemon he owned that could watch, was in front of him peering at the stadium.
"Watch when they start Servine, one of these people could up being our opponent, if we can study them and see what they do, we will know what we are up to, assuming they end up battling me" Drake commented waiting for the battle to start.
Nate leaned over to listen to what Mike had said, then responded, "Hmm? Oh, I just think some people need to get their priorities straightened out"
Mike shot a cold glare to Nate and scoffed. "People are human, people get distracted in love, hate, and relationships. People get sad, people get angry, that's just being human. You shouldn't look down on those who are human. I'm sure you've had a fair share of those human emotions, but it seems you chose to seal it away and be emotionless, arrogantly looking down on those you think are inferior to you because of their human nature."
"Well, thats your opinion" he replied.
Mike smirked. "Wow, i was right on the mark. I blatantly insulted you, yet you choose to show no emotion. No anger, no sadness, you simply judge those based on external factors and brush off all the judgements on you. Your truly pathetic, I almost pity you." He then turned away and stared blankly at the battle field.
"How I carry myself should be of no concern to you, Michael" He said sternly with emphasis on the name.
"It does cause problems when people let their emotions get the best of themselves, though." Klaus said. "You know who's emotional? Guys who get mad and beat their wives. Crazy ladies who put rat poison in their ex-boyfriend's cereal. Emotions and instincts are all well and good, but bad things happen if we let them rule us. S'what seperates us from animals."
