Introduction
Che Guevara High School, aside from being named after a communist revolutionary, is a fairly typical high school. It has your normal classes and normal clubs. The studious book club, the athletic football club, and the Future Business Leader's Association. Totally conventional, except for one thing...
The school was built atop a meteor made of pure, concentrated evil. People with evil intentions who are near it for extended periods of time may experience things such as megalomania, hubris, greed, and mutant powers. Students who felt these eventually banded together. With the help of the apathetic Mr. Wagner, they formed the Future Business Leader's Association. But this was just a front. Their real goal...Is world domination.
Gameplay:
The game will consist of a set of missions called plots. Players can submit plot ideas to this thread, and proposed rewards for the plots. Players will then vote on which plot they want to join. For example, a player might propose the group robs a bank and escapes through the sewers. If the group succeeded, that would add a set amount of money to the club's funds. Which in turn might allow the club to go onto a mission where they fly to Egypt to burglarize a pharoah's tomb.
After each mission, players should PM me with how their character's skills improve. Powers and abilities should start out weak, but will probably end up pretty powerful.
Based on missions, the club might gain enemies, who will occasionally try to foil the club's plans, or launch a direct assault on the base somehow.
Rules:
-No godmodding.
-Keep romance PG-13.
-Players may not vote for their own plots. Only those of others.
-No tennising.
-This RP probably won't be very serious. Just FYI.
Sign-Ups:
Name: What's your character's birth name? I'd suggest including an alias if they have one.
Gender: Male, female, shemale, etc.
Age: Preferably high-school age.
Appearance: Either describe them or provide a pic.
Likes: What does your character like?
Dislikes: What doesn't your character like?
Family: List any relatives that are important in their life. Deceased ones are cool, and pets too.
How they joined the club: Did they learn about it through word of mouth? Did they see one of the somewhat evil looking posters and not get scared off?
Skills: List natural abilities your character has here. Stuff like martial arts, or skill with math.
Powers: List supernatural powers here. Make sure to keep it somewhat weak at the start; Your character won't be able to shoot exploding balls of fire from their hands or lift cars effortlessly. They might be able to conjure small flickers of flame that they can set things on fire with from afar, or break a person's arm fairly easily.
Resources: What objects can your character give for the whole club to use? Do they have a large amount of money they can give to the club? Or maybe a high-tech computer they'll let other club members use? Or a cache of books on the occult?
Example:
Name: Enzo "Count Ebony Darkness" Art
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: Count always plays as a necromancer in D&D, and now that he's actually developed the ability to animate dead, he dresses as much like one as he can without being forced to go home and change into something the school allows. He dyes his normally brown hair black, and wears black eyeliner. He's somewhat thin, and of average height, with fairly pale skin. As far as clothes, he wears a black t-shirth, with a skull wreathed in blue flames emblazoned on it. He tends to wear black jeans, and combat boots.
Likes: The color black, other goths, Twilight, his cat, Cookie, Dungeons & Dragons.
Dislikes: The sunlight (He burns easily), preps, being alone.
Family: His mom, his dad, and his cat.
How they joined the club:
Skills: Enzo is fairly good at drawing pictures, and is in fact responsible for the somewhat disturbing posters around the school. He is also fairly knowledgeable about occult lore.
Powers: Enzo has developed powers over the dead. Presently, he is limited to controlling the undead. He needs to draw a set of runes, so each undead needs about five minutes to animate. But the spell works on corpeses that are underground, causing them to rise from the earth. So he doesn't need to dig up graves. The minions will follow Enzo's orders, but can't do anything much more complex than move some boxes or protect a given area. He presently has one animated skeleton.
He can also freeze water he touches. He can control the shape it freezes in, thus allowing him to create swords of ice, or frozen shuriken.
Resources: A small library of books on the occult, the entire Twilight series, and some Dungeons & Dragons books. Also some posters he made for the club.
